If only we could gain use of the projectors/screen over the bowling lanes. Then again, considering this tournament will be held on a Friday afternoon into the evening, that would be a bad idea (considering the amount of activity the MUGA gets on a Friday night).
All good. The cake was good though. We should get a cold stone cake and bring it to muga sometime again and just break from class that way. I won’t be at muga at all until Friday. My sickness is really dragging me down.
I can’t see any way of using consoles unless you use the pool room, which would likely be a big no. the only way I see that working is if the tourney was so big that they would never be able to finish it before late night.
I wish I could use Gouken at the arcade. I’ve put in a lot of effort into making him my main and learning how to play him other than that one combo that you guys already know of.

I only do random FA from full screen away when I play against characters that have long range specials (like Cammy’s cannon drill or Bison’s scissors). It’s pretty much safe to fish for focus crumples that way. Don’t do it against Sagat, cuz Tiger Knee will wreck your shit

it seems to catch me doing full screen jump all the time (esp when i try to psychic jump over a fireball).

Ah those ones. Yeah it works pretty well w/ Ryu because his focus attack is so fast. You an beat it if you see me charging by either doing an air attack and immediately cannon spiking upon landing or empty jumping and throwing.

So if you do charge back, qcf+p, you’ll get torpedo EVERY TIME no matter where you end the motion. You absolutely must not hit down in order to get rush uppers xD.
Jack is just being greedy; he wants his FA3 to hit so he can do a big combo. Once you hit the FA, anti-air reversal his attack a few times. He’ll just have to go back to doing uppercuts.

I need 4 volunteers to act as officers in the club, along with me. I would also like to get some feedback as to what people would like to see out of this group.
I’m not sure if I’d make a great officer. I could probably make a somewhat decent Treasurer (I guess that’s what I get for having accountants for parents), but I’d only be around for a year (or if my grades don’t hold up this quarter… not for long), so there’d be a lack of staying power with me. If my grades improve, then maybe I’ll volunteer for Treasurer.

As far as what I would like to see out of this club - I’d really like to see big bi-weekly sessions held in Griffin. That’d be so sick if we could tap into the pool of campus TV’s and just BYOConsole/controller in there.
That’s what I’m hoping for too. Bi-Weekly $10 entry tourneys with 4 tv’s running simultaneously. Shit’d be hype.
