Okay peeps, here is the full info for Friday’s tournament:
-Date: Friday March 6
-Place: UCD CUGA Game Room
-Time: Sign ups will go from 3-4PM; tournament will start after all the machines are “serviced” which will be at around 4:15-4:30
-Games: SFIV, CVS2, MVC2, and 3S
-Entry Fee: SFIV-$5, and the other 3 games will be set at $2. And 1 token for every play (on all the games)
-Format: best 2/3, double elimination
-Prize Breakdown: more than 10; 1st-70%, 2nd-20%, 3rd-10%: less than 10; 1st-75%, 2nd-25%
-Hosted by: Me (ya’ll should know who I am by now, though I feel like an ass because I only know a few of you guys), Matt (running CVS2), Jack(MVC2), and Kevin(3S)
That should cover most of the stuff. Hit me up if you guys have any more questions. I hope the people I listed will be available to help me out. Respond ASAP if you can or cannot.

I can still blame you for not playing enough SF4. When the arcade gets an update, I expect you to be the MUGA Cammy player.
I’m not even confident in my CvS2 Cammy. What makes you think I’ll be whipping out Spiral Arrow spam when the machines get an update?
Besides, by the time that happens, Roy’s going to be using her in his “I’ll play as anyone who doesn’t have a penis” roulette before I even get enough experience playing the game itself (without killing my wallet, of course). In due time, maybe I will become a regular Viper/Cammy player at the MUGA… but not now. Or at least not when they get the console characters.

I spammed sac-town thread with the tourney info. But I don’t agree with the 2/3 double elim setup. If we have 24+ people in sf4 playing, 2/3 would take FOREVER. Gamechariot style or bust for sf4. Rest is w/e cause we’ll only get 12 max for side games. 3$ buy in cause that’s what I posted in teh tourney thread.

I talked to Marty about that, but we weren’t sure where to place the console. The management @ MUGA mite not agree with putting a tv and ps3 where you guys ate David’s b-day cake. That’s really the only open spot :.
Putting SF4 on best 3/5 sounds like a good idea if the # of participants gets too big. But I’ll make that decision on the day of the tournament when I get an idea of how many people will show up. And the price of the other games is $2, not 3, but I dont think anyone will care too much.
