Hey, popo, do you use Guile’s Ultra at all? I know Marty doesn’t, but he seems to have some better strats working out for him. For me though, if I have the meter, I’m usually somewhat tempted to at least pull it off as an anti air. I try to do flash kick xx ultra, but it doesn’t come out. my hands are too slow. And how are you supposed to combo into that thing?
You pretty much get a free ultra every round, so I don’t see why you wouldn’t use it as an anti-air. Just don’t spam it in hopes of hitting someone. Frankly, if I can do it, I’m certain that Popo can do it. Save that blue meter for ex sonic booms or something , but that’s my advice. I’m interested in what Popo has to say.
Edit: Whoops. Read your post wrong. I guess you mean should a Guile player purposely seek an opportunity to combo into an ultra or should a Guile player focus his or her energy else where? Tooootaally letting Popo do this one.

Yeah, the buffering in the game is all sorts of fucked up. You can just do a ub~hcf+P for Zangief’s 360 moves. The game is still fun as hell though
