There was a lot of good CvS2 action goin down today. Nice to see people in the MUGA.
what’s a good time to roll to the muga for pure 3s action?
Abby give me my fucking game back. ~_~
I fucked up on my infamous double-geese trick. I shoulda just stuck with the Ratio 4 K-Raiden.
Anyways, I’m back in Milpitas for more Tekken6, so I’m not gonna be at the MUGA for a long time.
spirit juice,
unfortunately, i sold your game, but i can give you 12 bux and an adalbertos bean burrito…come pick it up or meet me downtown…i work downtown…dont be a baby
love, urienator:amazed:
If you seriously sold my game wtf. I hope you’re joking. If you’re not, give me $40 and we’ll call it even. ~_~
Kevin,
Find out where milpitas got their Tekken 6. Our importer is being a little too flaky and we may not get the approval from the school on ordering it.
Abby,
all the fighting games are happening from about 12-4 every day, though its a little slow over the summer. We are gonna start tournies up in the fall so come by with some of the old sac people and give tanaka and choi some competition.
Also, in my experience, friday is typically slow as fuck during the summer quarter. Mon - Thurs is best.
Is the MU open this Friday?
Are you guys seriously trading Pump NX2 for Micheal Jackson’s Moonwalker?
If you are I’d play it at least twice a day
But yeah, why does the MU now have Pump Pro? Pump Pro is generally hated by Pump fans because it is basically In The Groove with an extra button :v
After much anticipation… Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker was installed today.
Crowds surrounded the machine and watched MJ himself “rescue” children and use his chimp Bubbles to turn into a mean, lean, dancing machine. Lines formed as patrons waited expectantly to play the newly released game with top of the line graphics and hardware acceleration the likes of which have never been seen.
But seriously, Moonwalker was in for a bit, and I’ll probably put it in every once in a while. I purchased moonwalker a few years ago, fixed it up, and can not describe the joy I receive when a credit is applied and MJ yells “WHOOOOOOOOOO”.
In fact I plan on rotating a lot of our older Jamma games into the old SF 3 machine.
I’m not entirely sure why we got the new PIU, but the machine and screen look nice and people have been playing it.
Tim…we are open today and tonight, though I don’t really know how late. Give the front desk a call to find out 530-752-2580
Any word on SF4 or Tekken 6 Dan?
SF4 is more likely than T6. It’s costs less, and it would attract more people than T6 because theres already 3 places in the bay area that already have T6, so people wont be travelling here just to play it. Not to mention that the main profit of T6 would be from marty, who works at the MU and gets free tokens - which isnt profit at all.
Marty pays a monthly fee imo :P. We find anybody to import the SF4 PCB and is it going to be a jap or us setup? Jap sticks would be nice :D.
No on T6. We are working on Sf4 and are in the process of getting it. The cabinets may have jap style joysticks, though personally I think they are shit.
:tup::tup::tup:
can’t wait for that.
Dantron you’re working at the MUGA again? Good shit.
I say that you guys should use american sticks, so when the MU has to restock parts, they wont have a stack of japanese sticks just for that one game.
yeah I’m back at the MUGA working as the assistant mechanic while I finish my Masters. We will be painting the arcade room black and slowly converting the majority of machines to large screen plasmas/LCDs. Tourneys will me starting up this fall, and I hope to have SF4 by then. I don’t have my weekly clinical rotation yet, so I don’t know what days yet
