i’ve been able to reduce the venue fees down from previous tournaments after talking to the finance officer, hopefully that helps

Same here, a passport or they have this “enhanced driver’s license/ID” that basically functions as a passport/ID. The problem is a passport takes over 6 months to get, and the enhanced ID also probably takes a bit (though not that long).

I already want to come it’s just not knowing my work schedule ahead of time, knowing if I have somewhere to stay, wondering if I’ll have the money (what with rent being due a few days after)…

It’s a passport or an E-License, but it used to just require a Driver’s License and a Birth Certificate or something and most of us never bothered to get a Passport since we weren’t traveling internationally anyway.

It shouldn’t take that long to get a passport. Usually they can turn it around in 4-6 weeks (although that would still be too late for this tournament).

Anyway, I know I missed the deadline for pre-reg, but I’d like to go to this tournament, assuming some other Seattle peeps are driving up.

Maybe I’m exaggerating but it felt like FOREVER to get mine. It had to have been at least 7-8 weeks.

Yeah - you can pay extra to rush process it if you want I think but that’s pretty expensive.
