UAS-Classic Controller users- How do you have your buttons mapped?

A = Light
B = Medium
Y = Heavy
X = Partner

I’ve played fighters on a pad my entire life, and the way I’ve set up my config was to always have Hard Punch and Hard Kick where the Y and B buttons would be, respectively. So, it just made sense for my hands to put the strongest attacks going from left to right.

D-pad > analog stick always, unless you’re using the world’s worst d-pad or something.
Piano keying on a pad can be beneficial, but not so much for a 4-button game like TvC. There’s no real need to ever have to hit more than 2 buttons at the same time, which is easy to do with your thumb.

Does anyone else get random mega crashes or super moves with the classic? Random as in not wanted or executed. There have been plenty of times that I press ONE buttom, such as X, and it crashes. I have also done super moves with the press of a button as well. Megacrashes are the main problem. This happened to a firend of mine too with the classic.

I think that’s caused from a button being pressed on the actual wiimote while you’re playing. Gotta watch out for that.

You could be getting some kind of wireless interference. In that thread, I’m pretty sure that my friend’s neighbors in adjacent apartments were doing something that was messing with our game, as we’ve only ever experienced it immediately after hearing them moving around upstairs.

Its definitely not any of the wii mote buttons being pressed. I do hate having that thing sitting around while i play, though. too bad these arent wireless without them. It probably is that wireless interference. Maybe I’ll go back to using a gamecube controller…

I use defaults, except I map L shoulder to A(aka L), for charging purposes when playing as Zero (no freaking way to do his wall loop without a shoulder mapped if not using a stick)
