I rather have a makeup monthly than a dead week weekly…
now you know how HE feels… you know who im talking about.
the monthly came on a bad time cause of people with finals at junior colleges and people like Ricki and I that had hell week at CSUS, yet still came to have fun and play with everyone (doug, tony, tanaka, mikey, popo, jason, etc…)…the monthlies are a dope idea but it was just the timing of this particular one that caused such a crap turnout…i love you.
people are graduating…i suggest holding a final get together. anyone interested in plans?
i think the gathering on saturday was funner then a tournament because we didnt have to wait around and do nothing forever.

I would be pounding away and then he would ask me about some combo I missed in the last tourny, and then I would go limp in shame. Or maybe he would explain some new setup that I never thought of, and I would have to leave, knowing that I am not worthy.
This last monthly was much better than any tourney, except for maybe tanaka and Tony (because they lost their monthly income), I own popo and his bitch ass honda.

The monthly was very weak. I am tired of people complaining that they suck at games when they don’t invest the time to play. People need to show up. The problem is arcade gaming seems to be all about sacrifice and all about priorities. As long as people don’t get pissed off because they are getting killed and they can’t figure out why then it should be all good I suppose. The lame ass line “you play this game all the time.” And, “I have not played like, forever.” This is just of taste of complaints. Ahh fuck, what’s the use…
