Reason why we do not have it on a weekly basis is that so few people show up. And sometimes Danny flakes and gets there so late to change the machines to event mode.

Well it looks like Andrew Lam is the only one so far to be in favor of weekends.
I am also not in favor of weekends. It’s not going to happen for me because I can’t get weekends off work very often at all. I am allowed only wednesday off every week in my work schedule.
To be honest a Saturday is best for me because I am not there late on Weds. And wake up groggy for work on Thursday.
I go back to sf every fortnight, so saturday is no good. Any other day is fine. I think someone mentioned before that we should mix it up (the tourny days I mean). Like have one on wed. and the next sat. it seemed like a good compromise.
WEEKENDS SOUND GOOD TO ME.

You don’t really need to set the machines to event mode to have a tournament. The only troublesome thing is killing off teams in CvS2. That takes a minute or so.
C’mon. Will someone turn down the difficulty in SvC? If not, I’m just going to have to play Zero.

I don’t really have any problems with the difficulty in SvC (either I’m unintentionally using against-cpu-abusable tactics or sagat is too good still, even in svc), except that I got killed off by Dan when I reached him, 2 rounds straight. So why did SNK decide to give Dan all of Ryo’s supers in CvS2? especially that one hit punch thing… that is so Ryo. and what the heck is that self exploding bomb thing 
If you use Sagat…you can just fireball Dan to death~

Hey Danny, you know what else would improve coincounters? Putting all the games to one token, and making Initial D one more token. I think we all agree on that one. If not, we can take our fifteen-odd fighting game crew against the fifty-odd initial D crew. That’d be cool.
I heard the great eric chan graced the MU games area with his presence. wow i am shocked that he took the time out of his busy schedule to come see us. just make it a habit eric and stay there longer than just 30 minutes.

Wow Chan came down to the Muga…his ps2 must have broke. For all those that care GGXX will be in either tomorrow or saturday, we had a little problem with the buttons not working but I did some ghetto adapting and now they are all good. Tomorrow I am gonna put a new overlay and marquee on it and it will be up and running.
I didnt think SvC was that hard, but Ill turn it down sometime soon.
Ryan- the sticks feel loose because they arent p360s, the game (in my opinion) isnt worth it. Somebody can try to convince me if they want…also I still have your damn buttons.
Dont turn the difficulty down…instead hide the difficulty :evil:

GGXX now officially works and is all cleaned up and looking sexy.
