Tournament info
We will start running the tournaments every fortnight. The next one will be next Wednesday, the 21st, at 6pm. However, I would also like to hear from you all if you want them to remain on Wednesday’s or on a weekend day instead? (still pertaining to the bi-weekly status)

It seems that a poll should be in this forum on when to have the tournys and at what time. Having a tourny in the middle of the week may make it hard for people to show up because of classes and studying. But having it on a Saturday is optimal for a lot of people and may bring in people from the surrounding area to come also. The main problem of having it on a Saurday or Sunday is that the MU does get rented out from time to time. So a majority vote should be in place.

I prefer wed night at 6. I can’t make it this week but from next week on I should be able to. if it’s on saturday/sunday then I most likely won’t make it any week.

I am against tourney at weekends cuz if people (including me) ever go home for the weekend that means no tourney for sure.
But Wed 6pm seems to be working for our tourneys in 2003, so I wonder if a lot of the regulars have class during the tourney this quarter?
Or maybe make the tourney start at 8? I am not sure when muga closes though~
anyone who goes home for the weekend surely lives in the bay area. and anyone who lives in the bay area is surely able to travel to sunnyvale.
Tournaments on just about any day of the week is fine with me.
Having it on the weekend, though, will make it kind of random when I’ll show up. For example, not this weekend.
When are people available to play Naruto 2? It might be troublesome but I’ll smack anyone down with Shikamaru.

I prefer weekends. Like early Saturday afternoon, maybe? It’ll give me time to recover from all the craziness that usually goes down on a Friday night, and yet, early enough so that it’ll end before 4 or 5!
