What’s the MvC2 scene like at TYS3?

Dont know. This is the first tourney at the new venue. I know at the old venue in the galleria, the scene was like 10 to 16 players. Pretty nice size pots! Plus an extra 100$ on top of the pot. Should be interesting on who takes it:wink:

My brother wants to know if HD Remix will be a tourney game or just a casual side game. Shall I assume that it’s not a tourney game since I don’t see an entry fee for it?
Casual side game until enough interest is formed. It will not be a tourney game until 8 or more people decide to sign up.

Well I can’t say im great at SFIV ( i mean beat almost everybody i play but that means absolutely nothing at all pros make me look like an infant) but Im getting super excited for the SF community and SF4 in particular (along with 3s) and I was wondering when you might be doing more tournaments? I can’t make this one in couple of days, but perhaps i could make it to some other ones you got.
Also how big is the turnout (sans the brawl players)? Im just wondering because this tournment you got going on sound great but I live in Corpus Christi so a 4 hr drive is kinda big if the SF tournaments are like 2 people.
Oh and one other thing do you know of ANY other tournaments in Texas that might have a larger turnout like yours?

ITS TIME! Oct, 3 will be the next chapter to the Test Your Skills Series. The last sf4 tournament had 14 players. This time I hope to get 20+. There are more people throwing tournaments in Texas. You just have to check the front of the tournament thread often. See you there…

lol I dont want to make a new thread cause its a series and every month I have to make a new thread gets kinda cluttery so I use the same thread. Yea that 200$ bonus is nasty. Build the hype and pass the word on. I want to break 30+ marvel players this time. Last time in everyone including spectators was 200+ so I at least want 250 there. Now Im Just wondering who will get some of that bonus loot?

No, its that CvS2 is making a comeback and will get a $100 bonus pot. 
Yea. I would do that if a cvs2 community actually existed. I know the galleria will be geting it real soon so that will be a good start. Just got 3rd strike so the turnout should be decent.:cybot:
What console will SFIV be on?
Ps3 for tournament and Xbox360 casuals. If you have a setup or know some that does. Please bring it cause we will need it. So far we have 7 tvs and 1 projector. We need as many setups as possible cause this will be major!
Can you elaborate on the weekly’s? Location/Day of the week/Time/Format/Fee, etc. I would love to join if they are still happening. I am interested in SFIV.
