Erm im a little confused about this.

On your thread title it says it starts in june 6th 2009 but when I went to your website I couldnt not find any events in about that time frame.

So is it going to happen in june 6th or when ?

only SF4.

Ive only just recently picked up SF4 (about 2 months now) and ive not played a SF game since back in the SNES.

Also this will be the first tournement ive ever gone too so im trying to figure this all out because im a little nervous.

Im new to the whole tournement community so I really want to check this out to see what all the fuss is about and too find some great comp in an offline enviroment. In my town besides the Gamestop tournement, there is no gaming community. No tournemnts, no Events, no special promos , nothing.

Also on a side note ive been using seth and I probaly will use his in the tournament and is he allowed? I know you say all chars but recently there has been a big fight in the SF4 community about seth being Overpowered.

I main other fighters too but seth is my main main.

all in all, im just nervous. First time for everything right eh?

Also, am I reading this right? I have to bring my own 360 and game and a tv? what happens if it gets stolen or damage or what? also I cant afford to buy another tv and my current is a 42 inch plasma tv. if I dont bring my own tv and I allowed to participate? same goes for the 360, game. I can understand bringing your own controller but the rest?

Mabye im freaking out for nothing but to a newcomer this seems unorthidox.

one last question. I use a madcatz fight pad which has a turbo function. Even though I never use it and i will show the judges how its programmed and how I DO NOT use it, am i allowed to use it?

Again Im not much of a harcore SF fan, (not yet anyway), mabye its because im only 20 idk. But all this just makes me nervous.

Also it says SF4 is for ps3 but it also list all systems? whats the deal with that? Is there a phone number I can call and get some info?

Welcome to the Sf4 community. Im going to answer a couple of your questions.

1st Seth is playable at my tournament. No characters are banned unless others complain. If they do, It will go to voting.

2nd The community normally brings setups (meaning tv/console/game) to make the tournament go faster. It is OPTIONAL if you want to do so. (Small tvs like 32 inchs and under are fine) Also some players just want to feel of it playing as if they were in there house. Stolen/Damage hasnt happen at any of my tournaments. We have full force security to take care of anything like this. Watch your belongings. If you dont bring a tv or console you can still enter the tournament.

3rd Madcatz stick is fine however as long as it doesnt interfere with the match. Your good.

4th It is on ps3 but 360 casuals meaning no tournament for 360. Just side matchs. All systems are welcome to be played. We have enough tvs for any game to be played.

Cool so If I bring a fight pad for the ps3 I can participate in it even thoug i dont own a ps3 or SF4 for the ps3?
