Are spectators cool to come through for this or are we trying to keep attendance at a cap?
I wish I could play early. Been waiting over a month and a half to play another Twars match but some how everyone else has played twice. Why stuff gotta mess up the schedule right before our matches. Oh well, my Adon is 10x better now.
It’s looking like I really won’t have time to bring all of my equipment with me this Saturday, but I’ll try to atleast have my Flip with me so we can get some more matches recorded. Sorry guys - personal stuff is taking up the majority of my day today.
Just curious when we will see a standings/playoff update on the site. Hasn’t been updated in a while.
See you saturday. Stoked to finally play.
Videos from Saturday? :o

This post is directed towards the following people: Bokkin, Mikhail, FrankDaDank, Joe and Tony from GW.
When registering for TW, I had selected my 2 characters to be Makoto and Juri. I don’t play Juri, to be honest, never really have. I have told Frank (TW organizer) that I’m going to use Ryu during my matches, with the assumption that I will be getting disqualified. I don’t play Juri and Makoto is not who I want to use in tournament, I’m unsure of why Juri even got on my list of characters as is
I also have a team member that has dropped from actually playing on my team…it’d be really nice to have TW not be a completely bad experience, and it would be really nice to use my main without any baggage.
Therefore my question to these people is simply this: Will anyone have an issue with me using RYU during our matches? If not, then you can play me at my best and you and I can both be content that we played to our ability. If you DO have an issue, far be it from me to stop you, rules are rules…however I still would like to play Ryu against you even with the disqualification.
The way I look at it is this: I already have a team member that has dropped, and I’m registered with 2 characters that I’m not trying to be too serious with. Give me the respect to play serious with you rather than taking an easy DQ win. Please post thoughts and if I don’t hear from you, I’ll try to talk to you personally about the issue.
u mad.
Rules are rules, but I’ll take you up on your offer to play your Ryu
Schedule??
ppl that play tomorrow/today (Juri Division) show up at 4 (minus Jared’s team since he’s working) and we’ll just knock them out.
Also Riki, I can’t give you a ride tomorrow because I’m going to a birthday party after TW’s. Sorry.
Mickey I don’t care if you use Ryu if ppl don’t have an objection then cool.
The truth lies in the heart of battle. ^^ WARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIOR
I’m going to try and get out of work early today because I was here hella late yesterday working my fingers to the bone. I’ll keep you in the loop (Or you’ll just see me at Cole’s).
I get off at 430 ill be there at 5

I have no problem with someone using their main. I still don’t understand the whole Character Lock idea in fighting games. I see a use to blind select and the fact the winners have to keep their character but the character lock thing is kinda weak to me. If the whole idea was to prep your characters for evo in the first place why wasn’t it just use whatever characters you’re going to for evo?
Edit:If Mickey’s teammate is gone can he run 2 sets of 2 characters as 2 people if the opposing team wants it? Like Juri/Makoto since that’s his characters then I wouldn’t mind him running Mickey2.0 as Ryu/Makoto. I think beating one person twice would be too quick and un-eventful. Plus it would be him following his first 2 characters technically.
I agree with not having a lock on characters. Maybe next season it’ll be a free for all.
But if your partner is gone you gotta be a one man army. I did it for 5 games yesterday (one buy) and won 4… it was pretty grueling though.
