Ok, maybe my observation is off but I think Democracy Mode voting is bugged. If you pay attention right before democracy comes in, it shows the last commands and their numbers are in the thousands. Does this mean that while anarchy is on, every command is still being tallied? If so, that means bots and anarchofucks can still spam “anarchy” even during anarchy mode.
We’ll never truly get Jim Badges if this keeps up.

I just realized that there’s no way we would be able to fight Rayquaza in gen 3 because the pillar floor holes actually require timing and fast reflexes, which cannot be done unless the input system is overhauled

See, this is what the anarchists don’t understand. In this pure anarchy, even if all 10,000+ people are on the same page, they will still very, very likely step on each other toes constantly because there is no unifying voice. No one that truly stands out when everyone is trying to. And even if they did, how do you coordinate such that you don’t get more inputs than necessary? When the “leader” says “right”, how will he get just one?
But let’s just say theoretically, this is somehow not mathematically, chronologically, or socially impossible. Let’s say that thousands of strangers can play together. Again, if just 1% of that 10,000+ are down-right trolls or bots (which is a mere 100 chatters), the people actively trying to undermine the group WILL undermine the group when such meticulous cooperation is needed to navigate a maze. Because anarchy is giving every input the same weight. Even if all everyone has to do is input “right”, it only takes one “down” to send us flying off of the ledge into our collective failure and, ultimately, despair.
So this maze boils down to pure dumb like. Thousands of people coming together in pure chaos fighting each other and the ones, real or automated, working for the downfall of the collective. We become no more than a glorifying random number generator deciding our fate, foolishly proclaiming success and teamwork, when there is none. A statement would be as fool-hearty as one saying that he has a strategy for picking winning lottery numbers. Utter buffoonery.
tl;dr: ANARCHOFUCKS ARE DUMB. DEMOCRACY NOW.
And due to the new Anarchy/Democracy mechanics, Democracy will never be in play long enough to pass that floor, especially due to all the trainer battles.
We actually got to Morty almost 4 hours ago. Anarchofucks convinced everyone to go back to anarchy when we got there. Naturally, the bots and trolls turned what should’ve been an “a9” breeze into a “consult the GS Ball” clusterfuck, and 4 hours later, we JUST NOW got democracy back from the anarchofucks.
Yeah, democracy is in play right now.

Clearly it isn’t about progress for Helix sake. Its about releasing our starter, fucking up a maze for 2 days then having a doofus rat Dig us out of the last room its about the funny shit that can happen and be turned into the hundreds if not thousands of original content that has come out of the game because its 40-50k people trying to control a single character with no real rules for them to follow. I totally accept that Democracy is a necessary evil to combat some of the games puzzles and stuff, absolutely. If you want to watch a LP of pokemon where the player character takes one (i know you can do left9, but good luck coordinating that) step (or action) go play the game your goddamn self.
And even in Democracy they just failed the damn puzzle when they were a step away.
