I’ll be there tonight if all goes well.
Anyone up for a SF4 Snuggie Battle or a Rafflle?

run the extension cord from the outlet by the TV to the tables in back, run the two front setups off the outlet near the front of the back room. basically just power it up opposite of what we normally do.
We can try it, but considering how crowded that lounge gets I am not too confident we will really have room for people to play a game of pool.
Just want to make sure everyone knows we are rockign this tonight - I am going to be starting tourney matches @ 8:30 at the absolute latest - depending on setups though I may make it start earlier.
Thanks to everyone who came out for Singles tonight. We had a good showing from the Portland crew, and we had a lot of new faces to make a total of 27 entrants for tonights Singles tournament. Was a great night, and hopefully we can keep this up. I think we’ve got a really good thing going here.
Also, I just want to point out that Mikehascookies 360 was having some issues at the end of the night, he’s going to see about getting it fixed/repaired in the warranty, but I do think if he can’t get it worked out with Microsoft for one reason or another that we should really work to get some kind of donation to him. I don’t want to have anyone bring their equipment for our scene to use and then have something happen to it that ends up costing anyone any money, and I think we are a big enough community that we can all chip in to keep the best setup that we usuallyh ave for these things showing up. We all appreciate you bringing your stuff out Mike, and we will do what we can to help out as much as possible.

Mr Roboto layin it down~! Sorry to Tanya for playing Blanka, didn’t feel Seth at the start of the night, and your Rose straight dominated it. Good stuff~!
@Mike: If it ends up costing you money man, let us know whats up. I’ll put down some cash for the repairs. <3
@ Danny: Thanks for letting me perform some bracket masterpiece!
Fun games, Seattle. I got dead last, but I don’t feel bad about how I played at all, and I took away sooo much from this one tournament. I’m really pumped up actually, and almost excited for SF4 again (a game I haven’t been enjoying for a little bit now). Thanks for reminding me that this game can be hype, and exactly how good Viper looks when she’s on a roll.
Tekken tournament wasn’t too shabby either, though I was woefully unprepared, match up-wise. I don’t know anything about Tekken. Wish it had a Quest mode (a la VF).
But yeah, good times. Portland will be returning soon, I’m sure.
You guys are always welcome to come up, it’s always great to play people from outside of our local scene because no matter how much you play people will always do something different than what you are used to.
@ Jared - Yeah man, that girl’s Rose kind of tore your Seth up. She should come out more than just when the Portland guys show up hah. Could always use another good Rose player in the scene, that match-up is interesting.
I am working on uploading the matches now, looks like I recorded like 15-16 of them this week. I still have to label them and such so it’ll be a while before I am done with that, but at worst I hope to have it done tonight. There doesn’t appear to be any hype Jurassic commentary on the videos this week though.
Damnit King and Future, when I said I couldn’t play at Gameworks last night because the machine doesn’t have my characters, why didn’t you point me here?
I should make the next one, I really need to learn how to play locally instead of just online.
Yeah man, and when Super 4 comes out, she’ll already be a step ahead and destroy people.
Edit: Portland cats: Great meeting you guys, I’m really new to the scene (Since console release) so this was my first time meeting any of you. I wish I didn’t get rushed down to HK Bistro or I would have played all of you!
Hopefully you guys had a safe trip back home.
Yeah, you missed out on me, Kraingkrai, and most of Jurassic playing 3S in the lougne for a good 30-45 min. Rocking that Ibuki.
Forgot to mention how hardcore Danny is for making the brackets on cardboard. This man knows how to do brackets.
To be fair - Jared made the brackets and the cardboard was to make him feel at home with it. I do my brackets in a spiral notebook and on Tio hah. I am going to try to find a way to be a bit more organized next week as far as what match is occurring on what setup.
Mhmm. The Hotness tradition~ Brackets written on anything.
What really caused delays was that set-up that Tanya and I played on, the monitor going out every two seconds. -_-
It seemed to be working in the end?
Yeah I think the monitor cable was just loose, after I screwed it in I don’t think we had any further issues with it. I usually just plug it in but form now on I’ll make sure it’s screwed everytime. I might also change from VGA cable to HDMI->-DVI for that setup, I think it would reduce potential lag even more, I’ll test it out at home.
Also, I still have your powerstrip, it’s just in my box of shit I bring to TWars so I’ll bring it back again next week.
Good shit to the portland crew. Stoked to hopefully be there for the finals.
In all seriousness though, the 12-pack box actually works really well for a bracket of that size.
i’LL TORE THE ROSE UP I DON’T GIVE A FUNK if her bf is reading this hahaha in fact she can tear me uP! HAHAHHA <3
^YJDK…GGs. Had fun playing Tekken, SF4, and some ST with Cole. Cool to meet new people.
Bracket of Death consumed my soul.
