Really appreciate everyone showing up last night - we had a great turnout of 17 people for the tournament.
The bracket didn’t save correctly, so unfortunately all I know is what I remember, and the listing I had of the first round of matches - so I can kind of recreate things but it will take me a bit. If you remember who you played/beat/lost to then I can recreate it and post the full ranking. Sorry guys - that’s my fault.

Good shit with the Marvel AND CVS2 set up. Thanks for the sticks Evan. I mean sure, we were huddled in the corner like some little kids and shit, but please believe that is where all the real action took place.
Cool IcyShoes - the more people the better. Though even at 17 people it gets a little hectic trying to make sure we always have a match going hah. I’ll try to be more organized for you guys next week - wasn’t expecting such a good turnout and having 3 setups was awesome.
Just a reminder for everyone, it will always be a 5$ buy-in (unless we get super huge and I have to start charging more in order to keep us at a reasonable number) - and also, we usually have sticks on-hand for you to use BUT you are not allowed to complain about the stick you were using or any issues like that. Use your OWN stick if you want to, we usualy run all 360 setups though last night we had a PS3 setup as well. Also, it is not guarunteed that we will always have sticks for people to use - but we usually do.
If you offer to have your stick used as a stick at a station, that’s great - feel free to get your stick off of that station if you have a match to play or what have you. All I ask on that is that if someone is using your stick and playing a tournament match, you at least let them finish.
Before, I had to get shitfaced to have a good time at TW. SFIV is fucking terrible. I need alcohol to even enjoy the game and I get depressed at just how bitch made SF has become. Dreamcast is the truth. I forgot how much I enjoyed CVS2 despite it taking hella long for each match.

AYYY!!! Looking to get the ball rolling on getting setups out again. We had a great turnout last week, I’d like to do the same or better this week. I will definitely be bringing my setup as usual - we need more people to bring setups if at all possible.
Also, I want to know what people’s thoughts are on the prize money. So far I’ve just been doing like 70/20/10ish for the top 3. At what point should we start getting 4th place and such something out of it? I was thinking if we hit 16, then 4th place gets their entry fee back, and maybe more so if we start getting more and more people showing up. What is everyone’s thoughts?
Also, if the results above look incorrect to you - please let me know what your results were so I can correct the bracket. I think it’s mostly correct, but I am sure there is atleast a few discrepencies (aside from top 4 at least).
Haha, don’t worry aobut that - I have print outs of solid brackets and then as usual I’ll be running Tio on my laptop. And this time I’ll make sure it saves correctly hah. I just need to get some more practice with running this stuff, I was really surprised by the amount of people we had last week and it caught me off guard. I’ll be better prepared this week.
Eh, the problem is that some of our best players don’t really like to show up for anything lesser (thefuture, LTB) and 5$ is kind of a nice sweet spot. I really do encourage you to try and enter, it’s the cost of a beer really (and some people have paid me as such).

5$ is really not all that much - I’ve entered every single SF4 tournament we’ve held, and most of the Tekken tournaments, and I haven’t won a dime. It’s only once/week at the most really.
Don’t raise the entry fee, i think its perfect. More people just need to make an effort to come out to this every week, including me. Last week was great with lots of solid players, if your thinking about going; just go.
I’ll will be there this sat. again, and I’ll bring a 360 set up if you still need it.
