What do you guys think of having some retarded shit like a single elimination random select tournament AFTER tournament wars to end the night? Like 1-2$/buy-in and 2/3 -2/3? Random select each set throughout? Just something kind of goofy and not very serious to finish it off.
We could move atleast my setup into the resturant and just have them on those front tables.

Again, just someting to have fun with and mess around with. I might save it for when Super comes out or something - just throwing the idea around. And it wouldn’t be more than a dollar or two.
Or if we wanted it to be double elim and a bit longer, we could do the Suicide Style or whatever tournament, but that takes a bit of time. The only one I’ve been involved in was 2/3 and best of 5, but you had to win with three different characters, and at the end of a match, the loser gets to choose one of the characters and the winner can’t use that character for the remainder of the tournament.

I really am. It’s a terrible flaw in my game. Character ADD, man. Alpha 3 was the one game I could pick one character and that was Cody. So I’m hoping he’s just as tight in this game so I can try to focus on him.

Just out of curiousity - does anyone have an issue with a PC Setup for the Singles Tourney/Casuals?
Also, if there is enough interest and the Best Western allows I was thinking maybe we could throw together a tourney this Saturday even though there isn’t any TWs. It’s definitely not final at all and I’m just throwing the idea out there. Don’t expect it to happen unless I or someone else confirms it but just curious how many people would show up. I’d probably try to do like 8PM start time for a double elimination 2/3 + 2/3 tournament in SF4.
There will be a Tekken 6 singles tournament too yeah?

I suppose, if Tekken people show up and we have more than one setup I don’t mind running it, we could even run a Tekken tourney before or after since they go so quickly generally. I’ll make sure to have plenty of bracket printouts if we do it (I always haev a bunch anyway)
Again, I haven’t cleared this with Josh/Jacob/Fae or anything - so it really depends on what they say and if we have enuogh interest.
