I’ve noticed that it seems impossible to chain into Tekkaman Blade’s jumping 2C, unlike what the promo video shows. I’ve tried it from A and B, but no dice so far. Also, his jumping C doesn’t hit twice on airborne opponents, contrary to what the promo video shows.
Bummer, those Ground-Air-Ground combos look badass. I’ll edit this post if I find a way to do it.
EDIT: I was correct on 2C not chaining, but it can combo from a jump cancel. Still can’t get the (2)8C to connect, though.
Hmm, I guess you need to do it really high or use a particular juggle combination while launching? Try using the exact same inputs as seen in those early vids.

Casshan :
Both A and B dive kicks hit OTG
Hitting OTG with A and B dive kicks no longer creates restand
Can in fact combo level 3 super after B-Denkou
B-Friender no longer sticks staggered opponents back in a neutral state. (so if you attack it’d be like attacking your typical staggered dude, they’d be airborne)
Not liking those Cashan changes. No more restand, and losing alot of B friender set ups really hurts. Comboing off the B punch is pretty sweet though. I was noticing in the stream that he could do a bnb into the b denkou, then continue a little after the punch before launching. His BnB damage probably got a nice boost from that, but again, no restand is disappointing.
Yes losing the restand sucks but overall I’d find Casshan overall to be a better player this time around, hes less dependent on assists to pull off his BnBs. On Casshan’s B-friender not being able to stick opponents back on ground, its not THAT huge of a deal once you realize you can still continue your combo after the B-Denkou punch because of the long stun it causes (though it wont be a full ground combo because its a stagger state that lifts opponent off ground)
So BnB -> A Denkou -> BBQ -> BnB -> B Denkou -> 2B Launcher Air Combo Drill Kick Geiser super

More Casshan Changes :
*Standing C Changes
. Much easier to combo into launcher with it (doesn’t push away as far)
. C combos on shorties (Roll, v.Joe) regardless of them crouching or not I’d assume this applies to everyone else in the cast as well.
*Can continue combo after B-Denkou (stagger state)
I can confirm it, Karas is not the same as seen in that vid agaisnt Alex, so no more wallbounce overhead combo on airbone oponents. His launcher into A,A,B,B, jump, MC combo still works, but you need to press A pretty close to the floor since his jB leave the opponent too high now.
When landing, you can go for his normail chain combo, but remember to skip 2B, cuase it wiffs now…We’ll have to see if he still have some of his old tricks, but so far he got hit by the nerf ball, again. He still has insane range, though. He can’t cancel his slide into 4,6+attack anymore, preventing his infinite. Also, it seems that his 2A gives some distance when hitting someone…I remember using up to 4 2A’s before going for 5B, now I can barely hit the 4th.
I hope I’m worng, but can someone confirm if karas 236 lvl1 super DOESN’T kill while chipping to death? I REALLY hope I’m wrong.
wow that’s disappointing. And this is coming from someone who hated Karas back in CGoH; the new changes seemed to be a great overall addition by keeping him fun/useful without being too good
im gonna just be nice and say wtf. the only reason i calmed down from yelling before was because he still looked new and beastly. jesus fucking christ. oh well i guess until i can play the game.
