TVC US version character changes (to be updated)

Yeah it does. That was just really close. Ken had almost no health left (it counts yellow health only) and chun had lost some health from getting hit as an assist, plus that last combo. All in all it was really close, but Polymar edged them out.

Chill son, chill…

edit: Anyone else finding Ken very annoying to play against? Thing is I’m never sure if they are trying to control that space or just killing the clock. I mean really, he’s not even doing damage 98% of the time. If you are gonna do that at least poke with assist on landing or throw the boomerang more. IMO.

It seems the announcer was rooting for Cass/Polymar anyway just because the other guy was being a dick hahaha.

I can’t be the only one who thought Casshern’s theme seemed a bit…empty?

And it’s good to know that timeout works like that. I still wonder if it comes down to overall number of health left between the two competitors or the position of the bar. Can PTX or Lightan win via time out if both the opponents are alive?

It’s proportional to your total health, not a number game. It’s the percentage of your overall health left. i.e. if PTX was fighting somebody and had 30% of his health left, he would win against a team with one dead person and one member at 40%, because they’d have around 20% total health left.

Also, about cash/poly, that’s a team that’s capable of doing huge damage in short bursts, but has a bitch of a time getting in on somebody like a ken or a megaman who has a good keepaway game. While it might seem a little annoying, running the fuck away was absolutely ken’s best option in this matchup. It’s not always like that though. I linked a video a while back of heartnana vs the guy who won SBO (a ken/ryu), and he uses ken to rush down megaman (first out for heartnana) and then when morrigan comes out, plays runaway for the rest of the round. That’s part of why ken’s so good, because he’s extremely versatile.

What you are saying is true, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s really annoying to play against.

Not saying it’s wrong, it’s just annoying:xeye:

I would rather fighting a character like Ken, who I still can have a chance to chase with the proper answer, than fighting someone like Magneto who, if you don’t have CapCom’s AAA you’re so screwed.

Oh good, well at least the giants aren’t AS succeptable to runaway tactics as I’d thought.

There’s Lightan…

Yeah, equally annoying. But a really good Magneto player will be in your face constantly keeping the pressure up if it’s one on one. Look at Yipes and the way he uses MSP. The man will not let you breath.

I don’t understand why they made it so that V.Joe can’t do two RHKs in the air but Ken can still do two Bird Shoots.

Because the double bird shoot link combos were cool and hard to do, whereas double RHKs were simple, not as cool looking, and also really good because of freefall state.

Lightan has a lot more HP than PTX, remember. Also I think the dropkick is going to be useful for chasing runners and knocking them out of the sky. Nice thing about Lightan is that his moves have a lot of range and come out pretty fast, and he has two attacks which hit directly above him (Launcher, dropkick) so yeah, it’s good to know that the problem of losing by timeout isn’t as bad as I thought. I was under the impression that a giant could not win via timeout unless at least one of their opponents was defeated.

and Batsu can still do double ryusai kick in the air, even if V.Joe can’t.

Happy birthday, TvC!

Yeah!

Where’s the Doronjo birthday cake with the minions inside, ready to jump out when you blow out the candles?

I’ll go and decorate the Lightan.
