TvC To 360 Mod..

finally got it!!
Culprit was the ground wire in the long run, just tried one on the fightpad pcb untill it work ended up being the B button why?? i dunno but it works!!!

does anybody know where the signal contact is on the original stick pcb so i can link it to my guide(home on wii) button, it looks like one trace goes to the switch that disables the home button and the other trace goes to the other side of the board. if anybody has a diagram would be nice

PS
BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY WHO HELPED ME, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!

i did the same thing . i modded my tvc stick for 360 using a fightpad here is a pic on how i did mine. i used the stock stick harness rather using individual wires to the stick made it alot easier and cleaner looking i think. and i just used the wires from the termanl block to the buttons and just soldered straight to the fight pad. works well . but im still trying to figuer out as well how to wire up the home button as well…

Take off the turbo panel, touch points on it with your multimeter until you find a solder point for the home button. Put one on ground and the other on the points randomly while pushing the button until you see the continuity hit 0. Refer to this video for a similar application. It doesn’t show how he found the spots but it shows what to do afterwards.

thanks vicko. that helps alot with tthe multimeter . i will try this tomorrow

dont mean to high jack this tread but i followed that video with trying to find the trace for the home button on the tvc pcb but well i put the multimeter on tone . i put the ground to ground and with out pushing the home button im getting signal. any guesses?

you’re not supposed to go ground to ground, it’s a common ground board so you will get tone. You need to find a point on the back of the pcb while touching the other point to ground on the same pcb and holding in the button. When you hear tone, let go of the button and press again to make sure you found the right spot.

thats what i did here is the tvc pcb . you can see the ground wire im using and there are some spots i can touch and i get tone . no sure but it could just be the pcb . may just use momentary switch’s

you get tone when you press the button?
If you take the PCB out of the plastic holder, look under the home button and then flip the PCB around and see if there’s a point directly behind it. if not, follow the traces and you can probably find it that way.

will try to trace the lead but not pressing any button . tone still comes through. and right were the L is on the pcb is were the home button is located
