I think I can assume, but I just wanted to be sure.
In the case of a Double K.O., the match is replayed right? If so, can players change characters or what?

A double KO is just a very very rare thing that may happen in a match. It shouldn’t grant you the ability to change characters in my opinion…It’s an extremely rare event and you should just have to play the match over because it wouldn’t be fair to allow possible counterpicking based on the rare chance of a DKO.
In Brawl if there’s a tie or “sudden death” they just do a 1-stock that determines the match and nobody is allowed to change, being allowed to change is considered an advantage in a fighting game so being given an advantage for a DKO is kind of unfair.
Slightly larger is your interpretation. Most Wii owners will have wireless controllers. Most SRKers have wired controllers. If your goal is to confine the already small community into SRK, I can see your point. If it is to keep expanding, and you have done an incredible job at it, then you should have a more positive look at the wireless option IMO.
Why is this thread not stickied?
i like your rules keits and cajunstrike but i was at FR12. well i had to fight iloveujoe or something like that. anyways the rules state in the FR thread are that you can not use macros but since the wii hori stick has a macro already set. i told the guy running it that its not fair if joe gets to use the macro cause its not arcade set up. joes argument back was that his stick is set up like the arcade and its default settings so since its default setting and not changed at controller settings its arcade. i was like hell NO! the arcade is 3 buttons and assist. so…since he is part of wongs crew that team captial crew which they get to many slides on things and perks. the guy running that tournament let him run with it. but in the rules its state no macros. joe said to me and the tournament helper(adam warlock) that i cant dash with out that macro…i ended up beating him in casules but he beat me in a best two out of three and it went to the third fight. i got fucked over on this rule. so just putting that out there so yall know. shinblanka i dont think knew about this and i dont think he still does but ill let him know
So he had the 3 attack buttons bound to one button I’m assuming. That’s pretty sad if he can’t mash on 3 buttons to dash. You sure that’s what it was? I mean, my girlfriend can IAD in TvC. lol
Thats how things go at events sometimes. If you feel slighted, always find the tournament director to get an official resolution.
pffffffft. what!? he couldnt dash without a macro. thats horrible
I think if one of the rules says you need to play it using an arcade stick, taking out macros should be mandatory, but not for pad users, since it’s hella difficult to press 3 button at the same time with original or custom button layout no matter which control pad are you using (GCN, Classic, PS2 using converter).
Please do not ban Wiimotes. Resyncing them is not too much trouble, and if I can’t use my Wii Hori stick, I am not coming to tournaments.
pad users should be allowed to keep their macros, since most people would say they are already disadvantaging themselves by using a pad.
