Hello community; sorry if this is kinda old… i’ve just found a TVC Wii fightstick PCB and i was wondering if there’s any chance to cable mod it and make it a USB controller for PC (since i don’t have a Wii, it’s kinda useless to me).
I know there’s some adapter but those aren’t sold in my country and i’d like to try doing it on my own because i just wanna make that PCB useful to me.
If there’s any information about how to mod a Wii fightstick PCB to USB please let me know. Thank you in advance.
Not likely.
It’s not a simple re-wire that’ll get the PCB working on a PC; I don’t know why you’d look to do this instead of just getting something cheap for PC-only, like a ZD-Encoder or something similar.
Not knocking your skillset, but making the PCB work on another platform is more than just a hack-job rewire effort.
And if your skillset did allow you to make your own adapter, you probably wouldn’t asking this question on this forum.
Think of it this way
Your TVC PCB only Speaks Nintendo Wii
You PC USB ports only know PC-USB.
The controller do not speak a language the PC would understand
You ether need to replace the PCB inside with one compatible for the PC or Get a Wii to PC USB adapter
