People on SRK throw around the phrase high level like it’s confetti.
Just buy a classic controller add-on for the wii, jeez.
It works fine.
Haha, can’t deny that.
This has been and will be my first 2D fighter. Played it on my roommate’s Wii before I moved out and really want to play this game again.
Smash is fun, but always good to expand my horizons.
Any news on this possibly being ported to other consoles? Would love to see a PS3 or 360 version.
Seth has been stating repeatedly in interviews that it’s going to be Wii-exclusive, just watch some of the damn E3 videos. Besides, if there was news of such a port (as stupid a financial risk it would be), somebody would’ve already posted about it by now.
Really, if you have to ask, then there probably wasn’t any new info to begin with. :bluu:
Wouldn’t really be stupid at all to port it to PS3 and 360. Being in the gaming business is always risky.
Posted this in the TvC thread on the fighting games board:
Hey! At 0:57 on this video

I noticed something weird about Karas. When he canceled his 2C into 236A or whatever, the spinning sword started behind him and then came to the front.
also look!
Souki’s spinning sword super looks like it really sucks now! wtf
Did they just nerf one of Souki’s only fast damage dealing tools for no reason?
Yeah the Karas spinning sword does look different now
I think joe escaped just cause he’s small and souki didn’t combo into the super. Notice that he fell on the 15th hit where the 16th hit puts opponents into a helpless state.
Yeah, Joe just fell out due to size - he and Roll do that all the time already in the Japanese version.
hmmm maybe they slowed it down, on jp TVC it came out almost instantly and beated almost every other move in the game
im interested on what did they change about other chars too
Oh good. I was worried there. I’ve never seen that move fail against Joe/Roll before, but I don’t use Souki very often.
Actually, after playing GG:AC on the Wii with the Classic Controller, I have to say that is the superior pad out of all I’ve tried, and before getting a stick I tried quite a few (ps pad being one of the favorites before). That d-pad is just so awesome, and it doesn’t hurt my thumb like the ps pad.
I still don’t understand what this “hassle” you mention is…?
Then again, most people would just hook up a PS2 stick to it.

check around 0:20
Change to Morrigan (very important), she can now combo her 5C from a 2B, which should add a lot of damage to her BnBs.
Oh wow this is good.
Morrigan’s lack of solid combos on the ground was something that always annoyed me. This and the fact that Valkyrie turn is faster should make me consider using her more often as a lead and not just team support.

Moar PTX. I’ll post an analysis once I finish watching the video if I notice anything cool.
point 1: OMG. J.5C combos when it hits an airborn opponent! Yes! Good buff.
point 2: Riot tackle A sends the opponent flying waaaay back, which is excellent. Good buff.
point 3: jump cancelling is still in.
point 4: 2B defiately looks faster. Good buff
point 5: chun li’s new level 3 comboing is bad for PTX. D:
point 6: seems to do more damage all around.
Don’t forget that knock down with the chainsaw.
Ack how could I miss that.
Chainsaw knockdown is AWESOME. PTX can now combo that into 2C in the corner. wow.
At least this means his chainsaw is actually useful now lol
Oh god how’d I miss that?! knockdown is indeed awesome! Makes me think of chainsaw, baroque, dash and otg.
Also I think the A riot tackle sent ken up way higher cause he was already in the air, but it may look like a buff too. Either way, these are much needed buffs!
