TvC Button Layout?

Can someone explain the logic and if i have it correct.

LP = Light Kick/Punch
MP = Roundhouse, Fierce
HP = Roundhouse, Fierce
MK = Medium Kick, Medium Punch?

Something seems to feel wrong there, But I have looked at
other TVC Sticks, That would be the layout.

Figured since i have TVC and a Gamecube Stick but it was never meant for TVC If, I could change the layout around but no idea if its correct because, It seems i have two roundhouse buttons on top.

if i recall, its like blazblue, should revolve around lk,lp,mp,hp
[A]**[C]
[D]

or
**[C][D]
[A]

So what’s the Medium kick for then?

[LP/LK] [R/F] [R/F]
[Assist] [MK/MP][Dash]

That’s because that’s set for the Classic Controller so that all the buttons are on the face.

So whats the proper layout for stick?

Either

ABC
D

or

BCD
A

Not sure what it was in the arcade cab though, but I prefer the first since it’s closer to classic Capcom 6 button controls.

TvC was on cabs…? I think you got confused d3v.

CGoH was.

In Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, there is no differentiation between punches and kicks, as far as button assignments go. Example: Ryu’s 2A is a crouching short, while Alex’s 2A is a crouching jab. Every character has different attacks in this game and a normal can be punch, kick, sword slash, knee, elbow, headbutt, shoulder… list goes on.

Default button four button layout is as follows:
A B C
P

Light Medium Heavy
Partner

Using a PS1/PS2 setup stick setup of the following:
[] /\ R1
X O R2

…translates into this in Gamecube button terminology:
B Y Z
A X R

…this is the how I would setup the button configuration in TvC:UAS:
M
Taunt
P
L

L+M+H
H

Ill be damned it did come out on cab that’s actually pretty cool for a wii game.

Thanks royal, You said it in a way i could understand.
