CvS2 will likely be at least a two TV setup and I’d like my gear all placed there.
EDIT: This should honestly go without saying but if people aren’t willing to donate then this tourney is dead before it even starts. If you’re coming for a particular game and you notice not one person from your specific scene has bothered to donate a TV/console/sticks to help that game get off the ground you’ve really got no one to blame but yourself. It’s got to be a group effort. All the side games that people love need gear to make them work and all the people who love them haven’t bothered to post a thing. We all know that CvS2/MvC2/3S/GGAC will get the equipment so step up for games like A3/ST/AHF/XvSF. If people don’t help, it screws the entire scene.
Last year we used the following TV setup per game:
3rd Strike = 4
Marvel = 3
CvS2 = 2
GGAC/MB = 2
ST = 1
A2/A3 = 1
Now remember, we had the arcade cabinets for casual last year. Stephen is asking for 13 TV’s just to run the tournaments. If people want casual they’re going to have to step it up in order to free up the stations. It’s really a matter of giving a little to get a little. Personally I’d like to have at least one casual TV per game played but it’s up to everyone.
I didn’t want to donate this year, so I could just have the option of leaving whenever I wanted, however, this year I’m gonna just hug one setup, probably ST and just sit there for hours and not get bored. Not that I was bored last year, but y’know, I got tired of watching and wanted to get my ass beaten in some game I could play.
Sooo, I’ve got my US T5 which I’ll probably be using for myself just because I have to get used to the shitty buttons that aren’t all responsive cuz I’m too lazy to mod it.
Then of course there’s my modded slim with 1 daulshock just in case.
I’ll definitely be bringing my smaller tv this year just so I can play casuals on it. However if things get tight then tourney people can use it for sure.
Edit: Btw my slim is a little glitchy sometimes, especially with Capcom Megamix. It may just be my shitty dvd’s but sometimes it just refuses to read some games. For the most part it might just pull thru the entire weekend with no problems but you never know. Just a warning.
if you guys cant get enough PS2’s, i can bring my modded one… but its not working well at all, which is why i wouldnt bother bringing it unless you’re desperate
Jed07 & Pui: just bring both of your PS2s. If anything, they will be used for casuals.

The size of the screen is 11 inches wide and 8 inches tall.

I can confirm 1 copy of AHF US. (Do we actually need more than 1 copy of AHF?)
In addition, I’ll ask strakka if we can borrow his PS2 which plays AHF US and 3s (Japanese) only. The optical drive is broken, so it can play games off of its HD only. I’d like to use it for AHF because the long load times in that game are a lot shorter when the game is read off the HD.
You don’t need my PSX -> DC converters?
I am confirming my attendance along with my equipment. I also have a Capcom Megamix with CVS2 and AE/3S being on the same disc that can run on a modded PS2.
