Although it has been shown or is posted somewhere in a board, I feel it is still good to have a compilation of these in a tutorial. I prefer to watch a more complete tutorial than crawl the net for hours searching for info. I don’t think that saying the tutorial has info that was posted somewhere else should be pointed out as a bad thing.

Sorry it took took so long to get back… so ungentlemanly… I’ve been in the Mak forums working on unblockable/crossup Tsurugis and did a few Local tournaments. Won 2. Placed well in the rest :). I will have you know that I used Dudley a little too, but I’m sticking with him in casuals for now.

Anything you can help me with i’m down, man. I’m really starting to like Dudley, and due to your tutorials, mine has surpassed my friends (who doesn’t believe in tuts, yet has been playing him sinc 3S. and yes he plays SSIV on the regular so i have no idea how i got better. Magic tuts :). Oh and i tried to put him up on them too, but he wouldn’t listen. Good looking out fam lol). I do have some trouble areas but I can’t really think about them when i’m not playing. I really need to keep practicing the simple stuff like hit confirms. I’ve fallen in love with f.MK, s.LP,s.MP, s.LP,s.HKxxwhatever. I can do the 1f and 2f links but not nearly with the same precision as this one, so that’s what I use… for now… Oh that and f.MK, c.LP, s.HKxx whatever. that’s always cute, but i really need to move to using c.MP instead of c.LP. But look at me preaching to the choir…
Oh and I’ve been breaking my block strings and **not **completing ducking combos with upper (probably 1 out of 3 times) and overheading dudes **TO DEATH **lmao. Ah Dudley’s so fun.
As far as character matchups go… I’m not really having more trouble against any particular character. I just havent’ played enough, i know, but… i’m used to being patient and getting in with Makoto, so it transfers well to my dudley game. I’m not seeing issues with projectiles or anti airing properly. I’ve got the safe jumps and meaties from KDs down pretty well. Hell i’m even using SSB on the regular. I actually landed SSB FADC EX Ducking Straight, Ultra 2 (Full) and that felt GREAT… another thing i’ve taken from the tutorials…
Anyway, in my personal opinion, Makoto’s 5 worst matchups go like this:
1-Yang
2-Fei Long
3-Yun
4-Dudley
5-Sakura
Yes, yang is worse than Yun for Makoto. You know, I actually considered not even putting Yun in the top 5 but he will remain there for the time being. At least until 2012. Most likely i will replace him with Cody. Also, Dudley is a fucking monster, and so is Sakura. Both IMO are Secret top tier on some 007 shit ya heard? That match is just so tough because their OSs stop my backdashing/jumping/EX whatever. So i got to figure out how to get around that stuff. You know honestly though, i havent’ had trouble with not one Dudley but yours and I still feel the matchup is in Dud’s favor. I dont’ know if its from playing you, but most other Dudley’s get demolished quickly and painfully…
Yeah i’m gonna stop running my mouth for now. We should catch up online sometime so I can show you what I learned with both Makoto and Dudley. I’m also pretty decent with Oni and Seth now so maybe I could see how those go against you too. Let me know.
Oh and for any other good dudley’s out there i’m always down for some practice, mirror or not. feel free to add me sometime. I know i’m new in here, but i pull no punches so i’d expect good lessons from anyone who playse me lol

Lol this is why I can’t stop playing Dudley, linking everything to Stand Roundhouse is so much fun. Finally getting down f.Mk into s/cr. mp into HK xx whatever as a punishment combo made me realize just how scary Dudley can be in practice rather than just theory. I still have a ways to go with foot games though.
