Super Turbo this Saturday? I’d compete but I’d have to bring my son and he’s not good at Bookman’s after about 30 minutes. I’ll probably still show up to say hi to everyone and maybe get in a few casuals.
so yeah, i was just playing some AE edition sf2, and boy do i suck, but i think i’m still gonna come down saturday, and meet some of you guys. and what format will we be playing on? aka, should i bring my piece of shit ae stick (or maybe even buy the Hori FS3 bookmans has??) or what? anddd, if it’s consoles also, could i maybe bring alpha anthology for some a3 casuals or maybe even some 3s casuals on ae?
At the A2 tourney there were Tekken 5 sticks to use or PS2 controller’s, your choice. I think it will go down the same way.
Also after the tourney is over you are allowed to get in some more games, I’m not sure if the guy
who runs it though would let you switch out games. It doesn’t hurt to ask though.
the cpu on st is cheep and doesnt count for shit.

you wont really get any good comp at the arcades here, most everyone in Tucson is a scrub and will complain about you being cheap. Cept for like Josh,JT,Sean,Roch,Roberth and Adrien.

Super Turbo is Street Fighter. It is the best fighting game ever, Super Turbo is like having hot sex with a hot chick on a hot day with a cold drink.
Sadly that’s becoming true. I swore many years ago I would never touch that game again and now I’m getting hooked on it. What’s next, a MvC2 revival for me? I need to get busy on making my custom stick so I won’t think about it.

Does anyone in Tucson get together to play anymore? The last time I played was when Josh came over to my house and had pizza, and that seems like years ago.
it just seems kind of pointless to do get-to-gethers cause everyone is always busy, thats why i gave up.
ST is one of the most balanced fighting games ever. The only problem is counter picking really. I just stick to using Claw, even though he has his bad match ups like Blanka or Bison. Not sure about DJ.
3rd strike is next Sunday at 2.

I’ve been to a couple of the bookmans get togethers… i was at a 3s tourney in like oct/nov last year and then i played in an ST tourney over there and took 1st place (dont’ remember when it was, tho). It was only out of like 12 people or something tho. R there more people going over there to play nowadays?
Dont think so, people cant agree on what game to play. The only thing I play is ST and A3 fuck everything else.

Ninja Edit: That Naruto fighter is insanely fun. I see it as a dumbed down version of Smash and that’s a good thing.
I dont find 3rd strike that fun. Ill play for the hell of it. And Smash is a better fighting game then naruto. Naruto fighting games are a joke, with there 50 infinite combos.
