wha?huh?Idonteven…
If you can’t look at that and see how you come off as a sore loser, I really don’t know what else to say
To add to that, you talk about saying he’s a good player like it makes every you say afterwards cool? That’s like starting out with “Yo good games,*** BUT***…” Doing that doesn’t make anything you say afterwards okay, especially when it’s comes off as being a sore loser.
As far as consistency, AZ is consistently bad compared to other states. Ya it leaves a bad taste in the mouth of people who live here, but it’s based solely on the community. Which is in turn because of this attitude.
Before I start, let me say, I know I’m fucking garbage at explaining things online. I always have trouble and would much rather just talk to people face-to-face, because I can’t count the times people have been like “What are you saying?” Ed knows this for fact, lol So I’m going to try and make this as simple as I can without losing the point
Each “pillar” of the SF AZ community, for the 9 years that I’ve been/come/gone into it, has always been trying to get recognition. Always trying to be the best. Which is good on a grand scale, but on a statewide scale is really fucks things up. I’ve seen players refuse to tell others how to beat their setups. I’ve seen players sandbag in local tournies, and I’ve seen players lose and do nothing but get salty about it. Now some players just aren’t the sharing type (Dan), and it can be good to have that cheap player, but amongst these “pillars” of the community, there is this animosity, and made-up rivalry, that is keeping them all from moving forward. The same way that you and Corey were going at it, it’s just ridiculous. I see the OG players withhold info, bitch about who is best, and in general just hate on each other, as opposed to sharing info, supporting their fellow AZ players, and moving forward as a whole. This shit then gets passed on to everyone who looks up to them. New players talk shit, they get salty, they make excuses, and all people talk about is how “hungry” people are. Fuck that, being hungry in fucking AZ should not be “I want to be on Scotts cool list of who is consistent and good” Being hungry should be “Fuck I want to go to Evo and win” But you don’t see that in this community. All you see is in-fighting and shit talking. Go look into other threads and see what they post. “Yo I’ma be at _____ on _____” “Hey good shit on ______, I found this vid that shows how to handle _______” Not 3 fucking pages of who is going to be on a shitty state only team tourney. This directly relates to you coming into the thread after tourney and complaining about Roch saying he doesn’t play. I’m sure Roch has sites he visits to watch vids, and methodology to learning a character in a short amount of time, but did anyone ask him? No. you get “Good games yo, BUT ___________________(fill in the blank with x back-handed comment)”
Which is not to say that there aren’t players who don’t do this shit. The first I met was Roberth, and honestly I’m sad that he doesn’t play anymore, because him teaching me CvS1 was one of the things that got me into fighting games. But now there are no players like that, and if their are, they take the smart route and just don’t-fucking-post. It’s sad to say but when Juicebox refused to comment on all the drama and shit that was going down, it was the best thing he could’ve done. Now I’m starting to realize the people that don’t post are the ones who already understand this shit. I’d think after the years that you’ve been here you’d see the same thing I see, than I KNOW others see. Ask anyone who’s come from another scene to read our threads and they’ll tell you. But you keep throwing flame on the fire, keep getting salty about shit, and refuse to simply back anyone who might represent AZ.
Now I know that’s all convoluted and not well explained, but I hope you get what I’m saying. AZ is too infatuated with defeating itself to stand a chance against anyone, and, on the real, srk is doing more bad than good =/ Hopefully you get why, in any case I’m going back to being the KoF hermit, I’m just not “hungry” enough for the SF community
