AiaB is kickin off a new ranbat season! The games featured will be MvC3 and SSF4. Rules and details listed below… if you have any questions or concerns, please post up.

Where:

Arcade-in-a-Box – 5540 E Hampton Road, Tucson, AZ

When:

Ranbats will be held bi-weekly. Dates are listed below.
1.1 – March 26, 2011
1.2 – April 9, 2011
1.3 – April 23, 2001
1.4 – May 7, 2011

Time:
7:00pm - Registration and brackets for SSF4
7:30pm - SSF4 Tournament Begins
9:30pm - Registration and brackets for MvC3
10:00pm - MvC3 Tournament Begins

TOURNAMENTS WILL BEGIN ON TIME. PLEASE SHOW RESPECT FOR YOUR FELLOW COMPETITORS AND YOUR TOURNAMENT ORGANIZERS AND DO NOT BE LATE

Fees:

-Door Fee: $10 (Door fee is only $5 if you paid for Friday Night Fights the night before.)
You may use your fight pass to pay for door fee if you wish
-Entry fee: $5 per game

Payouts:

4 of the 5 dollars of each players entry fee will be put into a pot and split up between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the usual 70/20/10 format at the end of each tourney. The remaining 1 dollar will be placed into a pot and will be awarded in full to the 1st place overall season winner. The pot for each game will be separate so there will technically be two 1st place winners… one for MvC3 and one for SSF4. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall season winners for each game will receive a fight pass as well.

Rules:

SSF4:
-Double Elimination
-Best 2/3 matches
-Loser may switch character but winner must keep same.
-Ultra switching allowed
-Played on Xbox 360

MvC3:
-Double Elimination
-Best 2/3 matches
-Loser may switch team but winner must keep same.

Point Allocation System:

1st place -- 10 points
2nd place -- 7 points
3rd place -- 5 points
4th place -- 3 points
5th place -- 2 points
Everyone else participating in the ranbat will receive 1 point

Seeding:

There will be NO seeds for the first week. After that, we will seed top four accordingly.

Plus your guys’ hype meter goes through the roof. Something that is lacking up here sometimes.

Its still wise toparticipate in the main az thread for events and just random trashtalk and organizing.

It would be good to see some new faces at AIAB to support the scene. Where you at Tucson?! This place crafted the team that took down phoenix so why the heck would you practice anywhere else?!
