hey, does anyone know the typical measurement of a tubular cam lock that arcade cabinets tend to have on the cash box door? and where i might be able to find them for cheap?any help would be GREATLY appreciated,im trying to get my cvs2 cabinet into a local arcade, but i need to replace that part first. they typically look like this:
Cam locks vary from cabinet to cabinet. If you can’t get that one open, you may be able to unscrew the bolt holding the latch piece on by opening up the back and going in from behind. Once you have it out, just take it with you to Home Depot and buy a matching replacement. The hole they’re installed in is standard, but the length varies, but it’s easy to find a match if you take it in with you.
Also, if you’ll be replacing all of the cam locks, dig through the stock they have and check the key numbers on the back. You can probably replace all of the locks so they have matching key numbers.
