TTT: Ranking Battles - Season 1

TTT would like to start our own Ranbat series. Ranbats will happen every tuesdays. This is a first come first serve event so if you would like to participate, please post in this thread to reserve your spot in the Ranbats. Season will be made up of 4 sessions. Rules are below.

Session #3: Tuesday, May 24th, 2011

Session #4: Tuesday, May 31th, 2011

START TIME: 7p-12a

ENTRY FEE: $10 (one time fee)

ENTRANTS: 15 max allowed. Reserve your spot now.

WHERE:
Azure.Fighting’s Dojang
1017 Bathurst St., Toronto, On - 7pm

PRIZE:
Pride and pot. Pot will be split 80% to 1st place and 20% to 2nd place.

Ranked Battles Rules

Match Style:
Round Robin (2 games a set, regardless of winner or loser). Team-lock is in effect per session (Teams can be changed each week). Everyone will play each other once per session.

Point System:
There will be 2 MATCHES. Each match you win is 1 point.
Your job is to win both MATCHES to gain 2 points.
If you win 1 match, that is 1 point.
If you don’t win a match, you get 0 points.
We will then tally all the points together and pit the top 2 in a future TTT Tournament.

Note:
Although I have scheduled the date to be for every Tuesdays, I understand it may be hard for some people to come every week. You will be allowed to make up missed games on the next session. However, please realize that the only way i will count a “makeup session” is if you end up playing with EVERYONE.

ie. if russell misses a day, he can’t just play me and we count that score… because then I end up playing more games than the rest of the members. russell has to play everyone b4 i even count one of his make up matches.

Thanks for coming out guys… This ran pretty smoothly and it took us about 2.5 hours to get all the games in!

Please let me know if you have any feedback as I am merely holding these for the scene so i want it to be the best possible experience.

Those of you who couldn’t make the first session but believe they can make the rest of the 3 sessions (May 17, 24, and 31), please feel free to attend the second session and we’ll make up your 1st session games all in a row…

Keep the hype up, this ish just getting started…
