I was going to rag on you for giving such a shallow answer…but since this is such shallow question, maybe it fits :woot:.
You can get the final s.mp into ending chicken loop to connect midscreen. Trick is during ex rocks do s.mp… then jump up/fwd and j.fk… land… s.mp into loop. Timing is tough to make sure you land in time to s.mp again.
In the corner a way to make it easy… instead of doing s.hk 6 times… do it 4 times… then s.mp… then s.hk again… this will put em a bit higher… giving you more of that precious time to get over there and s.mp into ending chicken loop. hope that helps.
Are there any beginner friendly characters in this game?
I honestly do not know anything about this game except that there’s parrying. I would like to learn the game and game mechanics first, and then choose a main later, after I have more knowledge of how each character plays.
Chun has to be the most beginner-friendly character to pick. But, if you want to unleash the beast RX style, get on the Urien train.
I’m being totally serious though. That’s how I choose my characters. I don’t care where they fall in a tier list.
This.
Do this.
Not even joking: Q and Twelve, by far.
dude i was about to post a thread asking about how i should main. I main guy in super/AE and he just feels right to me. No one except for ken (kinda) feels good to me in third strike i havent tried elena but i think she might be the closest
Dude, I main Hakan in SF4.
Don’t fall for the bait, it’s not pretty
Elena is pretty beginner-friendly as far as I can see. She’s very basic in terms of her playstyle, her attacks are all fairly good but not Chun b.HP good, and she has a little bit of everything. She’s kind of a jack of all trades, master of none. The only thing she’s above average at is healing. I think she’s top tier for healing, but Chun’s healing might be better.
sounds like oro is for you.
Makoto is fun, a great rushdown character, and somewhat simple. Even if you don’t like her in SSF4, you might enjoy her in 3s. She’s one of my mains in 3s and I don’t even touch her in SSF4.
I’ve been playing FG for 6months now (1200~1500pp on ae) I used to play a bit of 3s but that wasnt alot. I now want to learn how to play 3s but I don’t really like the higher tier characters. Which are the most beginner friendly characters except ken and which are atleast decent to play as a beginner to 3s, oro/hugo/necro?
I know you from stalking AE Ibuki forums!
=D
You can always roll Ken. No one remotely sane hates him or will dislike you for using him in this game. Chun is dumb simple to start, though. Godly normals with a godly fucking set of hitconfirms into Ibuki killer super. Hahaha. Fk Chun, werd. What a cunt character.
Really, though, I think you’d do great with Ibuki in this game and have an easier time using her than any other character due to your experience with her in AE. I know you have the execution (or can train it up in no time), so she’d probably feel more natural to you than the other charactes to start. It’ll take a few minutes to adjust to how her combos work in this game, especially the robustness of her target combos (she’s got a lot), but besides that you should feel at home in 3S. There’s no vortex or tsumuji looping, though, but I don’t think that’ll hurt you.
Also, Ibuki is a great troll in casual matches in this game.
EDIT: Oh wow. I’m such a slut for Ibuki. looooooool
Ken is a great beginner character because he’s got things you can work on in all aspects of the game from fundamentals to advanced strategies. He’s good, but he’s also unique with all those options which allows for a lot of play styles.
Q is a God amongst mortals. Play him. He’s really good.
Ibuki is online friendly to the max along with Elena… So if you’re just looking to be a dick and troll people play one or the other.
Play 12 for sure.
This is actually a genius advertisement for Xanax, I want to know how much they pay him to say things like this
My man. Just join the Alex army. He’s fun, challenging, stun-happy, and capable of some hilarious troll tactics.
He’s also a dick after the fight.
How can you not follow this advice?
