Just watched the first ep today. I sort of liked it. I was hoping Terra wasn’t going to be too messed up about Eggs considering I hated the character and Terra was a lot more interesting when she wasn’t all emotional or dealing with him. Werewolves should be a human/wolf combo not just a wolf that would make Sam one too.

Doubt it. That broad is a retard. It probably will eventually but probably not this season. A werewolf barely touches her and she screams like a banshee and zaps him out of desperation. Lorena grabs her by dome, props that neck out and digs in and she screams bloody murder. Her hadouken is looking like a gadouken with a chance of “when Sookie’s dumb self decides it wants to shit one out”.
EDIT: I only read the 8th book, no spoilers here so don’t worry. If you’ve seen all the episodes up to last night this is nothing really. Don’t ask me why I skipped so far, but it was given to me late last year and I just read it. Fuck it. It was like reading an informative episode w/o ruining too much. It just introduced Alcide, some badass were broad and touched on her powers. If some of the references to her power comes full swing like it was told to her by a certain relative in that book, as you guys saw, the vampires and werewolves are gonna be in a world of shit with Sookie. That is if she can learn to harness it. I know what she is so everything does make sense up to this point as to why she acts the way she does (all cocky, but up to this point in the show that’s just because she has all those vampire friends) and why the vampires and weres are attracted to her. With that I would say it’s safe to assume that’s why Russell reacted the way he did (saying Fantastic) when Sookie blasted that were because he probably knows what she is and probably hasn’t seen her kind in a while.

^ Nah its got to do with her heritage (i.e. her grandfather) wiki the books to see more info… and obvious spoilers. Im not sure about the blood bonding… lots of characters have bled and drank from vamps and had no side affects… i dont know what the official deal is with this.
Which basically means that if Franklin comes back then Tara is a good as fucked.

To be honest I thought they were making Tommy shift into different animals to rob banks and people. I don’t know why I didn’t see the dog fighting thing.
The whole dog fighting thing is illogical to me. If you had the powers of shifting would you really come up with that idea to make money? Come on now.

Did I mention my disappointment with the werewolves (as well as being a big were wolf fan boy?)? Hell, their so called “Alpha” was just some scared old man. Oh and Sookie’s “bodyguard” keeps getting owned for free.
It seems like all the weres get owned for free. Even being jacked up on ‘V’ didn’t save that one were from getting his ass kicked by a couple of women. and :shake: at the same time.
Exactly. I’m a fan of True Blood but I am sort of getting tired of seeing the vampires being like a “demonic Superman/Supergirl”. I felt the wolves should have been a true rival to them. I wanted to see a wolf beat the shit out of Eric regardless how old he is. If TB goes to at least a fifth season, will they have warlocks/wiches/wizards and if they do I wonder how they would fair.
Well judging from what we’ve seen Sookie do accidentally, faeries are apparently the shit power-wise. From what I understand we’re getting a couple of faerie characters showing up sometime soon, so maybe they’ll actually be able to beast.
