Yes, it’s because she’s part fairy. Fairies are ridiculously attractive to other supernatural beings in the lore of the books (and by the fault, the show), and to a lesser extent normal humans. Which is why even though Jason doesn’t have the same powers Sookie does (he got less of the gifts according to the books) he still can pull women like mad.
You’re probably right, although I don’t know why he would do that, but I was kind of hoping the body turned into some vampire zombie abomination thanks to Jessica’s fuck up.
