Probably not, but he does have a feeling that there’s more to Sam than meets the eye; I don’t think he’s asked Sam for that favor in last night’s episode if he didn’t.

I’m pretty sure Sam is a shapeshifter, he’s not a werewolf. In the last episode, when he ran back inside his bar avoiding Bellefleur, a dog ran out and Sam was nowhere to be found. The same dog from the 1st episode that comes to help Sookie when she gets her ass kicked by the guy and woman. When Sookie woke up in this latest episode Dean the dog turned out to be Sam.
HBO already ordered a 2nd season :woot:
