Awesome idea. CVS2 has this feature too. Turns out I was doing downforward during my second jab. Now I have to try to do the downforward as I’m hitting fierce because I have a weird tendency to do it early. It feels waay different than other demons. Anyone else have a similar problem?
I had the same problem. i can do it consistently this way, but i still prefer doing forward because i’m more used to it. still, down forward is better.
Allright guys i found out wat it is. I was doing the F>mp too seperate from each other. by pressing both at the exact time with good timming, im saving time in the transition from one to the next, therefore speeding up the whole process before the f>mp hits makes alot of sense.
now im constantly able to pull it off with just the first hit of the f>mp. i hope im getting close to it and can sometime soon pull it off entirely clean. all this on controller pad hehehe
I went into CVS2 and found why I can’t do it consistently. Seems my double tap on the lp is very inconsistent.
Damn if I could just figure out how to fix that. The rest of my demon motion is absolutely perfect.
wow NAZ, you have trouble with the TKD?! i thought u had it down to the core already
I keep making contact with the f+mp when the raging demon is release on the PS2. I’ll never use it in my game, so I gave up on it.
so according to jiro’s teachings of TKD on youtube (the slow one) it looks like…
:r: + :mp:
(still holding :r:) double tap:lp: (release :r: after the first tap)
:df: :lk: :hp:
???
You are from simi? Do you play at interface? Is your name brian santos? Anyway, if you are going to release it, just press :r: afterward, but I suggest not releasing it, and just moving from :r: to :df:
yes. yes. no.
lol. but bryan’s one of my good friends though, i might have played your akuma a few times,
i’m the one who always does the kkz. ^^
Um, what color do you pick?
standard akuma. lp. whatever the screens at interface decide to show, it’ll be black on one, and then blue on another. hah.
Oh, hm. The only person I can remember that plays akuma besides me or brian is the guy who picks blue (fp) and always does c.mk > lk tatsu > jab over and over. If thats not you, when do you usually play?
nah, i don’t do that scrubby mess. lol.
i used to play there alot, recently not much, i only play when i have free time (too much school) usually friday afternoon or nights, whenever i have an urge to wake up KKZ.
Haha right on. We should meet up sometime. I’m sure I’d recognize you if I saw you.
yeah.
Anyhow, I’m having troubles also. I can do all the easy karademons and such but the TKD is damn hard …
The worst thing is I never even get to see the demon, not even failing and without the inputs showing I’m not sure I get the two jabs correctly, or the 2nd forward motion with the stick …
Normally when you try to do the TKD and you fail it should come out after one hit right ? Oh well,
Another question, I’ve been trying to do the empty demonflip karademon with jabs buffered. I belive it’s like this;
flip, buffer the jabs directly after you leave the ground and then push forward. Then at the ground do the kick to get an empty flip and directly press hp,
but it seems like a too long time-period between the jabs and the hp ?
thnx, cyr
For me, a failed TKD usually only do the 6 + MP, no demon after…
For the demon flipxxdemon, K (to late cancel the flip) and HP are not fast, there is a slight delay between for demon to work…
Hope this helps!
Alright thanks, shouldnt it be possible to tap the jabs while standing still to see if you get two? Since Akuma can do them very quickly .
Try doing a normal raging demon as slow as possible while standing; the demon flip demon is a lot like that.
A failed TKD should do a simple 6+HP as ESN wrote it(chances are that you are missing one lp or doing the towars too early). A slow TKD would come out after one hit.
as for the demon flip xx demon, i push towards a slight second before hitting lk.
