I wonder why no one finds them sexist? I mean they’re “manly” right? People like her don’t give a shit about womens rights. Cause lets face it women still aren’t equal and they should be, but nit picking and saying just cause a female is attractive it means shes being objectified. I mean female and male characters tend to be attractive cause most people don’t want an ugly protagonist.

It’s not the blatant stupidity that is the whole video series in itself. It’s the fact that THIS is how these people choose to spend their money. THIS IS HOW THEY CHOOSE TO SPEND THEIR TIME AND MONEY. At the very least the morons that chose to heckle the broad for doing something so worthless didn’t spend a fucking dime, but these other fools thought that somehow giving some random lady who is in no way deserving or in need of this money 150k when they could be out there helping women that actually need help. Alright look motherfucker, we are going to get a couple of things straight before discussion goes further:

You started a thread about a person who got a bunch of 150,000 dollars to play video games and then make 5-20 minute videos on five topics that already show her bias towards the material she is handling. That is exactly 150,000 dollars more than she deserves on this shit. You know? Because she is not going into these games and treating them as the complicated, multi-voiced, and expensive undertakings that they are. Instead she wants to take start throwing blows at a medium without laying some proper context for it. Is there a video that explains how video games get made and the job each person has in it? Of course fucking not. Because that would be insightful towards understanding how the shit she wants to bitch about gets there in the first fucking place. The best she is going to do is get mad at the ultimate decision maker without understand that he may not have all of the control in the first place.

So what are they giving her 150,000 dollars for exactly? They are giving her money so she can comment on a bunch of games made by different corporate entities without first doing research on those corporate entities. Her very research is undermined by the fact that not all corporate entities share the same corporate structure or culture. So she is really going to shoot at the dark with some dumb ass interpretation of a bunch of characters without context all the while having nobody to blame for the final product. See its easy to say shit with books because you deal with one creative mind. Video games have so many damn people working on them that it gets murky. Similarly are you going to get mad at a company that gave us Chun-Li and Cammy when they also gave us Regina, Claire and Jill? This is some mad schizophrenic shit all coming from one source.

Not only that but you know this bitch is straight lying her ass of to people. If you really want to be fair, she could finish most action games in a day (at least most of the modern ones). But how are you going to treat RPGs? Those games are easily 60+ hours if she is taking legitimate note, video of scenes and all the other production hassle that comes with making the type of media she wants to create. People have thrown money at this woman and she never really posted either methods, proper thesis statements, preliminary research, or the theories she will use when dealing with the data. The only thing we know about the work is what we get from her little title page: she is going to select characters based on ass and titties. Honestly what made Valentine more fit than Peacock, Painwheel or Double in that little splash title page? She is using Valentine’s and Mai’s titties to be just as sensational as the shit she probably finds scandalous. All that space and no pictures of Zelda?

The truth is that this bitch is getting funded in the most retarded way possible: people are throwing money at her so she can be mad for her. Most people in academia would read that proposal and use it clean dog shit. Her idea is so damn bad that i wouldn’t use it to smack her with it.

150,000 fucking dollars for this shit. I should start a kickstarter to get myself paid. It’ll be called “Give me 50,000 dollars.” I’ll sit around all day posting in random forums, I’ll jerk off and go on random trips. Any excess money will get donated and I’ll write articles about why I gave it to that place.

I would respectfully ask you to chill the fuck out.

And it’s worth noting she asked for** $6000** and people gave her almost 30x that. You can’t exactly blame her for striking a chord with people.

The salt in this thread about money people decided to give her is unjustified. It’s not your money so why are you salty? I just enjoy the whole situation.

Hot women don’t want to be treated “equally” as men because as it is now they are at the top of the woman hierarchy of status in society, since a woman’s status is being determined by physical attractiveness. Ugly women are at the low point of this hierarchy which is why they want to change the game’s rules. Hence feminist activity. In truth this feminist activity is to progress their own interests and to lower the attractive women’s status.
Not to mention that feminist activity gives the person who engages in it fame and money. (150,000$ as we have seen)
So it’s never about helping women but about helping 1 specific woman, the one who asks for money.
