RDK, your Trish isn’t too un-Godlike itself I was wondering, since I’m using your same team… if after knockdown before Harvest I dash back instead of tridash back as you do, am I allowing them to escape via forward tech? No one has done it yet, so I’ve just been back dashing, but it may just be that no one I’ve faced is rolling through it? Dunno.

Also, when you kill someone, and the next guy’s coming in, when you do trap xx Harvest, is there a specific setup off a blocked Harvest when they’re airborne? Seems like a waste of a meter unless there’s a specific trick you’re going for. Time an unblockable for when they land or something?

try to get into the habit of doing a normal jumpback and tri-dash backwards. it will keep them in the corner at all times.

This is something I’ve been experimenting with too cause it ruins the setup if they manage to roll forward and end up out of the corner. What I’ve found is that after one backdash or tridash downback, the character will not roll to the other side as long as Trish is still there.

When I was trying to do unblockables at first, I noticed I was holding down the assist button to tag during the screen flash during round harvest, the tag will happen immediately. However I noticed my tag would come from the other direction cause the forward roll went past Trish’s last location according the game, resulting in the tag coming from the other side(from the corner). **BUT if you delay the tag they’ll never roll past you and you’ll still have plenty of time to call your assist for the unblockable. **Just start holding the assist button for tag after the screen flash sequence is complete. You should find that no character can roll past you.

i normally hold the tag button during the flash too… honestly if what you are saying is true it may be key to an extremely broken setup i’ve been work on. I’d reveal it now but im gonna keep it under the rug until after i’ve exposed it on stream at the next major. i will say though its a guard break that option selects air throw or unblockable…

just remember you heard it from me first…

I do’nt think they are vulnerable, but if your dealing with someone who mashes throw tech, or dive kickers who throw by option selecting it, they will usually get hit by the assist on the way down.

unfortunately your not vulernable after tech until a button is pressed. but as mentioned if they are mashing it will hit.
lol me and jago tried to come up with a setup that even if you tech an air throw the peekaboo would capture you, but yeah that was a bust. you still get a slimey mixup cuz people fear the peekaboo in front of them.

i’m not even sure if i have the notations right but side exchange wait for the hit, round trip, add, b, fly
i’ve only got past that point once and i forgot to hit c anyways lol
but on hsien ko the round trip doesn’t hit :s
maybe i’m not doing something right
but just wanted to know if you knew why that may be

It’s very character specific. It doesn’t work on most females/female sized characters (not including She Hulk), zero, and tiny characters. Unfortunately. I’m actually surprised it works on Wolverine as tiny as he is. If you look at that person’s youtube channel, there’s a second Trish TA combo video with a side exchange combo that works on more of the cast and does a lot more damage but doesn’t keep them in the corner. It carries them mid screen.

The trick to hitting the C after fly is to adf, c as soon as Trish can act in her fly mode.

I’d do those…if it didn’t require Trish to be second. Which I don’t like personally (at least for my team.)

Hey man, nothing to be ashamed of, lost to the guy who took the tourney. Besides you made him switch teams, thats a victory in its own right. Wish we coulda played some sets though, woulda liked to play against another trish.

Yup, dash and you’ll get it. Tri dash back with Trish, Round Harvest, Tag in Viper, call Cold Star, dash and charge up the FA and the timing of everything should be perfect. Keep in mind if the opponent raw tags or takes the hit from Round Harvest I don’t think you can kill with Viper, especially if they get taken into the air. If you have an extra meter Viper can follow them up and then use EX Burn Kick to continue the combo but I myself haven’t found a way to ensure a kill in that situation. Maybe someone in the Viper forums could help with that.

Wow this is really good stuff…Will definitely be practicing this when I get home. But Idk if you tried this or not. But In Lv2/3 xfactor you can probably add some fly mode stuff in there. Shes usually fast enough to get those in from almost anything. Nonetheless. This is really useful.

This is a really nice find. This probably makes hopscotch loop in the corner damn near hard to mess up if you were to go that route.
