Just want to clarify guys, the 234s should actually be 236s. I just changed them.
As for combo 5, I would say that this only works on arthur, V.joe, and ammy. Some of the other characters that I did it on you have to do it differently: airdash, 5c, 2c, 2b, 2c, launch, jump, 2b, 2c, 236a, 2b, 2c, 236a, 2b, 2b, 2c, 236a, launch button.
Hey darkdeath do you think it would be possible instead of doing her round harvest super to do her regular round trip in to switch sign hard and maybe relaunch?
I’ve been experimenting with round trip in combos and the best I’ve come up with is a reset. You actually don’t need switch sign for it to combo. As for a relaunch, you can launch them up, but I haven’t got anything substantial after the launch because they get launched too high.
As for the reset, it only works in the corner, you can do something like BnB launcher combo, OTG Assist, Round trip, instant J.A then no matter what direction they tech you get a free air throw attempt. If you land the throw you can go for a round harvest setup or have another otg combo and reset the situation. If they do tech the throw, her sword will come back and allow you to call an assist to continue pressure.
I’m quite sure you can also bait out the tech attempt for a dirtier setup

First EC MVC3 major. Definitely learned a lot while I was there and will be playing better at FR. I’m highly likely to be attending.

Why divekick :s: when you can divekick :l::h::s: > air combo?
Get them to fear a low high mixup out of divekick then start going for the throw.
EDIT: and I already said Trish OWNS Sent. People need to stop getting pushed around the screen by him. Maximum Voltage can punish drones and spit.
When Sent/Doom tries to call missiles and keep you out with spit just super jump, lay hopscotch and get ready to block the airborne missiles. Keep inching your way in. If Sentinel gets sloppy just divekick down or keep laying traps above his head its nothing he can do, unless he calls Doom missiles again, in which case you divekick down. I’m not sure if Sent sj. will work as a poke up there, id worry more about him trying to jump up and grab.
Sentinel is so big I think cancelling divekick into hopscotch will actually work on him as a pressure tool.
And if he doesnt have Doom on his team then just go to work on his ass. j.:qcb::h: xx :dp::h: grazes the top of his head and you’re completely safe from spit and drones.
And dont forget you can lay 2 traps cancel into flight and throw 3 more. Trish can stay in the air a loooong time. And it almost seems like throwing a trap twice in the same spot makes it harder to come up and get her, Im assuming the hitbox also travels down so it kinda “squeezes” if you jump into an already laid trap as shes laying another down.
Sent aint got shit.
There was one more set of matches that I can’t quite find. It was vs Liston’s team, I believe.
I got caught cuz I didn’t recognize the hit box of j.H. Didn’t have time to adjust, got killed in one combo without XF.

What with all the random jumping around as you talk?
I think there needs to be a little more structure to your clip. And you’re not going to open up any decent players by airdash :h: unless its covered by an assist. It doent have the crazy range like Tron’s junping :h: sj. airdash is much faster than regular jumping airdash, i dunno if anymore needs to be said regarding that.
There are alots of tactics and tricks in this forum you didnt even lay out. Trish has resets out of peekaboo, dropping hopscotch and then canceling into flight. Canceling standing :h: into traps and calling beam/lockdown assist. You left out hella stuff.
EDIT: I also didnt get your B&B “online” combos. If the connection is shitty the connection is shitty.

You had trouble punishing that Phoenix after the snapback. Phoenix users love to super jump, use that homing fireball, and than bring back the other character.
If I’m close to the corner, I always try to hit Phoenix with the unblockable after the snapback, I find snapbacks the best occasions to set it up. Hopscotch (set hopscotch before they come in, to keep them from super jumping), round harvest, go for the unblockable.
If they super jump to throw a fireball (and most likely they will), I think trying to punish it with round harvest or a super jump attack will give you random results. Maybe using hopscotch below them would be better (they’ll either get hit or block, so it’ll prevent them from using another fireball), I don’t know, I have to study that match up a lot more.
So in that 2nd match, at the end, Phoenix didn’t transform even though nashfan had 5 bars… what makes it so?
