The DHC glitch combo is a better combo if you’ve got the meter to get it going, not disagreeing with that. But you can’t do it from match start, and it requires specific team order. Your follow-up combo also assumes you used no assist to get the opening hit, which is optimal damage sure, but harder to guarantee.
Two other things to consider for the follow-up combo… I believe Wesker can do his j.L -> j.H -> j.S loop x2 into combo after Trish’s launcher because of its height, but I wasn’t able to practice it too much. Not sure if that does more or less damage ultimately in case it keeps you from the j.MM>j.H>j.S procession later.
Ultimately I think both combos are good to know because after a few zoning shots at the beginning of a match (and some without it), the Round Harvest -> Max Voltage combo kills a lot of top tier characters using just the meter you start with. You don’t have to make the decision for which you’re going to use for a while into your combo, either.
After you hit that 1.7 meters mark and their character has significant health, I agree, it’s glitch time.
I don’t think Trish teams are crippled for not having it though so long as they have access to an OTG assist or a high damaging DHC off Max Voltage. But it is nice.
