Sup dudes, I’m not a local to Walla walla or anything. Actually I’m a part of Olympia Fight Club. Just wanted to stop by and introduce myself. Its awesome that you guys found a venue and looks like everything is just getting better for you guys. I also just wanted to ask if any of you guys are going to Battle for Seattle this weekend. Its a small tournament that is sharing space with Seattle Retro Gaming Expo. I think Slash from Team Khaos is gonna stream it. They got classic Super Turbo on candy cabs!
Also check out the “Battle for Seattle…Poor promotion” Thread for some interesting entertaining rants. Thanks for listening dudes. You guys got it going on. Peace!
Hey guys, actually, if anybody want some SSF4 casual during this weekend including tonight, we can do so at my place since my landlady’s gone for the weekend. Feel free to hit me up. 678-665-2332. I live near safeway in Richland.
For any tranceheads here…
Above & Beyond in Seattle = words cannot describe the amounts of amazing witnessed. It’s almost like time stopped on the greatest day of my life.
Played some AE while I was up there too. My Yang got bodied by another Yang. Got hit with some combos I see in videos like st forward (launch), divekick (whiff), st forward (launch), roll kick. Wish I had enough practice to do that  Utilizing cr roundhouse more as a footsie tool though…not that bad actually. Range is decent. Also learned how to finally FADC mantis slashes. Timing is hella weirdly early.
GGPO is pretty good other than maybe the rollback feature totally making Urien teleport.
The salt levels are gonna be SO high vs Yun. Yun is worse to fight against in 3S than AE IMO. Though I do love counter-activating Seiei-Enbu to fight off Genei-Jin. Reminds me of Dragon Ball Z.
Good games all and great meeting you finally joyfull. You’re a really solid player. It was fun talking frame data with you too.
Gonna try to set this up again sometime next week. Maybe Weds again? I’ll let you all know. I’m sure this jug of Cheese Balls will still be here next time too.
Yeah, good games indeed. Yabuki, you’re real solid as well with all variety of characters. Also thank you very much for a ride. I’m not sure if I can make it next Weds since I’ve got some work due the day after, but I’ll definitely see what I can do. Also, Frankie, thanks a lot for a ride as well, and I hope you get recovered from a cold soon.
This Sat and/or Sun, we can also get a session at my place (or somewhere else, of course) if you guys want since my landlady’s out of town. I have two CRT’s and a 360 with AE. Anyone would be welcome.
New makoto is amazing!!! Found new combos and she has so many more options. Just need to perfect the timeing and practice her links and her new instant ex axekick.
Yabuki, I’m available on Sat. Either of Your or my place would be fine for me. I’ve been training around with Yun, and I look forward to testing it asap!
If it’s ok, maybe play at your place? I can head over right when I get off work if you guys are already playing. I mentioned that we were playing to Kalvin (very solid Chun Li player) too and he seemed interested. Would it be ok for him and maybe his cousin TJ to show up too?
If you need to get a hold of me, my phone number is 509-492-7286… I’ll be at work until 7 PM though so I may not answer anytime before then.
Edit: Forgot to mention. I’m gonna make an order from Lizard Lick for parts whenever they restock in the Seimitsu LS-32-01. Anyone need to order parts?
Oh, Yabuki, I saw your post just now. GGs last night, and I hope the reason Kalvin and TJ didn’t come is not because I didn’t mention about it to you yesterday. Anybody’s welcome as I posted earlier lol. See you guys at the next session.
