Treasure Coast thread - Stuart/Port Saint Lucie

I noticed there was no thread for our area, so I wanted to see if this would take… I’m personally by no means an expert on any fighting game, but I love MVC, Street Fighter, and even MK. My book knowledge and passion for all of them far exceeds my actual ability, and that is due in large part, I think, to not having any RL people to play with. None of my RL friends are into fighting games at all, all your Halo/COD types or don’t game at all.

I’m itching to find some people to play with in this area, I noted that there are WPB and Fort Pierce threads but both of those are too far. Let’s prove that the treasure coast isn’t ALL over 85-year-olds in bed by 7:00, I’d love to see a fighting community develop in this area.

Hey, I can finally register for a new account. I used to use the name “Second Edition.”

I did help organize a SSF4 tournament at Fusion LAN Center a few years ago, but I haven’t done any since. I know the Play N Trade in Stuart has done weekly tournaments recently, but I haven’t gone there since their first tournament.

Most of us go to CEO tournaments in the Central Florida area instead. It’s a bit of a drive, but the organizers are spot-on and the atmosphere is friendly.
