Does anyone have any tips to share for traveling? How to get cheap rooms/ eats etc?
Id really like to know if anyone knows how to get cheap airfare, specifically domestic(USA).
To better justify this thread’s life I spose we could talk about interesting destinations and maybe give other tips for when like, back packing through Spain or something <.<

kayak.com is usually the site I use to book airfare. It does a search over several popular travel sites.
For hotels, I’ve had better luck bypassing the booking sites and just looking up the hotel sites directly. The most important thing though is diligence. For a big trip I’ll check airfare and hotel prices several times a day for at least a month. Arbitrary price changes happen often with airfare.
Going to Dominican Republic in March, anyone have any tips, suggestions, locations, warnings, etc? It’s simply a week long leisurely type vacation. I’m seasoned in traveling (Trinidad, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Ireland, etc.) but some general info not from a website warning me about tarantulas and earthquakes would be appreciated.
