Of course, he’s the top blanka in japan. But it seems tournament pressure is new to him, especially against huge names like mago, uryo etc
Yes maybe this is why he was turtling so much vs the Rose with no reasons, but Vs Mago he was very good and not annoyed by stress (great spacing and punish but the match up hurt him at the end).
Fei match sucks.
vs. uryo, he got hit with a huge combo, and was in the corner. At that point sakura has control of the match. It’s not too good for Blanka at that point. Also unless you played vs. uryo your idea of the match might be kind of different.
I didn’t feel him really hurt by stress, he make a great performance, but maybe now Blanka will not have too much buffs in locktest because of him. xD
I’ve played dbjoseph online, which was scary enough 
I guess my point is he did far better when he applied pressure rather than solely trying to react & punish. He got lucky during the rose match, but against mago and uryo that really didn’t pan out to much. Guys like that aren’t going to make many mistakes at all, and when uryo can walk in 1/3rd screen into point-blank overhead I knew he was mindfucked.

Ok, was watching the AE2012 stream just to see blanka and when one finally comes on…THEY CHANGE TO ANOTHER CAB. ffs… saw 1 round vs an adon however
Ball knockdown is confirmed. Blanka did cr.lk, cr.lk then tried a 3rd and missed but threw the hp.ball anyway and it still knocked adon down. Bounceback seemed normal.
Not to be a spoilsport, but I saw that exact same sequence.
While i could only see it once, bc the blanka fucked up the combo, it did kinda look like the adon was trying to jump. Not really sure, if the adon did try to jump, then the knockdown would have occurred.
Not saying either way, just trying to be cautious.
