I gotta take pictures of the Magnus Prime with GodBomber combination. It’s probably one of the best updates of a Transformer to date. If they just made the cab transformable and it would have taken the top spot.
Updated the image in the tag.
I don’t remember Ginrai ever having a sword LOL
Someone in one of the local TF sales threads on FB is getting rid of the Magnus Prime (Legends Ginrai mold) citing G1 is a better figure.
I can’t make this stuff up LOL
Uh-oh. 3rd party powermaster MP prime.
Volcanicus is comprised of five new Dinobot figures, due out next spring. Power of the Primes Voyager class Grimlock will join with deluxe class Slug, Sludge, Snarl and Swoop
About time they combined!
They already did in this canonical classic: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/The_Beast_Within

Pics of the figure, if yall haven’t seen em. Looks pretty eww for the most part. Hopefully it’s just mis-transformed or something. Swoop and Sludge for legs…?
Good TV series. Not sure why there’s so many posts for it here.
Well, at least they used Grimlock’s sword from Fall of Cybertron.
A Dinobot Combiner isn’t necessary. Sure it gives Predaking a rival, but it’s not something I am interested in. The Lightning Strike Coalition was bad ass enough as is.
There aren’t too many 80’s franchises that are relevant in popular culture today not just for what it has done, but what it currently has going on.
A new G1 Predacon combiner AND G1 Dinobot combiner, leader class Rodimus Prime, plus modern pretenders?
They’re really going all-out with the G1 love.

With today’s animation, there’s no reason we can’t have a 2D, reasonably mature (think Young Justice, a bit more than TF:Prime) Transformers show.
Oh, on the contrary, it’s very necessary!
Agreed. They never needed it. Dinobots were always shown as a team of massive, brawling robots, with rock-solid armor. Each one as big, if not larger than Prime, and could take on multiple decepticons easily.
With a few exceptions, most decepticon combiners are usually portrayed as average sized individual robots. The threat with them is their ability to combine, which was necessary.
Dinobots didn’t need to.
and 33 Years later, it’s still relevant.
The original intro always gives me the nostalgia feels.
