Picked up Classics Bumblebee and Hot Rod tonight…cool thing is, Bumblebee is ALMOST in scale with his cartoon self compared to the other Alternators, so he fits right in.

I’ve owned Star Convoy, and the only reason you should consider picking him up over Predaking is if you’re a big fan of Prime/Convoy and are a completist of that character. The transformation is pretty simple, he is a decent Micromaster base, and he’s motorized, but he’s still a huge brick. The micromaster Hot Rod is really fucking cool, but in no way worth the price tag compared to the absolute wonder of Predaking.
Predaking is sooooooo fucking good.

the one only had a slight flaw in the canopy (a crack that had been hastily repaired) and the other one was fine, except for misapplied stickers, so I swapped out the canopies (after lifting and swapping the respective stickers on 'em) and now I have one awesome, complete G1 Bonecrusher, and one I can use for parts.

I’m looking at it this way:
if the stuff I have on ebay goes for the BIN Price, I’m getting Predaking, because I can afford it.
if it goes for the Reserve price, I’m getting Star Convoy, because it’ll save me money.
and yes, I already know all about SC, but I’ve always wanted one (ever since I first knew it existed), and despite being a brick, I just love seeing 'im in large collection pics.
don’t get me wrong, I will still attempt to add Predaking to my collection (if I go for SC instead), but it may take a while.
I do want Predaking though, and have discussed the matter with all invested parties (My dad helps me run the book business I’m using to finance my toy addiction)

my soundwave came in today. that shit came with the quickness. bad-ass packing with the pop out soundwave. looks like it comes with stickers already applied, but there are extra stickers in the box. don’t really like how his chest sticks out more, but he’s still nice

At first I didn’t like how his chest sticks out. I was used to his original version. But then I thought, it actually makes him look better, because it makes his form more interesting. I mean, in robot mode, he is a very boxy robot, with his chest perfectly flat. But with the extra bulge, he doesn’t look as flat. Plus him being able to carry around 2 cassettes instead of 1 is too good.
Has anybody heard of anyone attempting to mod the original release of Blaster, so that he can have his cassette door open? I really want to do this.
I would actually want a Soundwave voice changer more…but this is cool.
