I am still trying to get why MP Tracks and Shockwave are probably the most hated MPs in recent years? They aren’t that bad LOL
I can’t really speak from firsthand experience but I’ve been researching mp shockwave and quakewave a lot since he’s been experiencing some sales.
Shockwave seems to be a good figure,but for me there are a few small issues about it
1)Color. Imo it’s too light of a purple. That seems to be purely a Takara thing that they’ve done before with Henkei cyclonus, reissue g1 Galvatron et all.
He seems to be half an inch shorter than I would like. He seems to be around 8.5. or mp scream height. 9 would be optimal.
This is controversial because of the cartoon scale chart but I’m biased towards the marvel comic and they often drew megatron and him as similar heights.
While it’s not a strict requirement,it seems there is no die cast and the figure seems light.
Fans toys quake is apparently hefty.
There are some nice things/improvements.
I think another thing is that it’s roughly an Ironhide size but the price is 160 whereas Ironhide/ratchet were 90-100. The fit and finish imo seem better on quakewave and quakeblast.
I’d have to agree on the color. It’s definitely just a shade too light.
His size is pretty much G1 to a fault.

Well I ended up putting the preorder for MP Cheetor and purchased Warbotron so that drained my wallet. I’m on the fence about getting that Computron, I was also looking at the movie dinobots man is Scorn a popular figure (I tried to find him on my usual site and he’s been sold out for a while) I’ll probably pick him up next paycheck.
Going back to Computron I wanted to ask if any of you guys pick him up? and if is he worth it.
At the rate TakTomy is going with the MP releases, you won’t regret the purchase.
Scorn is a really solid figure from the AoE Line. Most people that have him, just hold on to it. He’s got the Robo Dino Knight thing down. Are you looking for the US or JP release?
For Computron, are you looking at the Combiner Wars or Unite Warriors version. It’s a toss up. Both still use the Silverbolt mold for Scattershot, but there’s much more than just paint. Here are the variances.

Hasbro comes with Devcon (Legends Cosmos repaint/retool)
If you want show accurate, Go UW. If you want new hands and feet, an extra figure, and toy accuracy, go for the US.
I’ve seen the black knight Scorn on Amazon I might get that one. As for Computron I’ll probably save up for the UW since it looks more G1 accurate.
As for MP I haven’t regret a purchase yet.
