That’s where a large amount of the hate comes from for TFSource. I know they have updated their security standards for handling cards since then. I get the rage behind it, but I wonder how many of the same crew that are complaining still shop at Target to get that fresh release?
Most of these guys have the same price until its time for a spring cleaning sale. The Chosen Prime at least gives you a $5 promo code for every $150 you spend. That can add up pretty quick. With Tracks and Road Rage coming, that’s easily another $150 there. I am with you there on HTS. I got Generations Springer, Crosscut and Air Raid a few weeks back. Promo codes are definitely a plus.
Any of you guys own MakeToys Giant? It’s one of those figures that I am tempted to buy because it looks pretty awesome, but the price tag heft is the only real barrier as to why I shouldn’t.

If it had the battle mask, I’d go for it. How can it be the ultimate battle ready version of the figure and not have the battle mask?

I am now intrigued by these. I can see the complaints in the hands, but the feet are pretty cool actually. Too bad they aren’t really well supported.
So my Apollyon is on the way. . . . .pray for me guys that it’s one of the good ones. Should have it on Saturday. I am surprised that The Chosen Prime does 2 day shipping as it’s free option.

Honestly that’s it. My issues are ball joints, the hand clearance for transformation. I would say that X-Transbots has the best aesthethic going for them if they are to stay in the realm of MP figures. No one else really comes close to first party from a design element as they have. The problem is that they need to take a look at QC as a whole.

Ok, did the replacement ball joint swap and its a lot better. It does make the ball joints more stable, but there is a catch. You WILL need to sand down the current ball peg to make it fit and have some decent resistance. If you put them on without doing so, you basically will have the arm in a fixed position.
There are sooooo many good things about Apollyon that are completely destroyed by a failure in quality control. If those minor things were fixed, they’d have a home run. I hope X Transbots (the group formerly known as KFC) really learns a lesson from this. They have a lot of promise, but need to get the fact that quality is key.
