In case I decide to get Prime, I already got the rest of the crew. I gotta wait for Silverbolt and the other Aerialbot in Wave 2.
I did open Powerglide. There are so many things done right with this little dude. Almost makes you forget there was an Ultra class version of the same guy released years ago.
So I decided to open the other Aerialbots as TFs in packaging need to be released. They are just ok (as a transformer). Itās the standard jet on back transformation that the Aerialbots have from G1 with minor updates. I didnāt expect much and it still felt just ok. However, you get the TF Fan smile once you turn them into a limb for Superion. Just knowing that itās a part of a whole ups the ante on these guys. Already got Silverbot coming as heās standard retail on TRU.com.

I passed on MP Prime reboot, I passed on Bumblebee, I passed on piece of crap Acid Storm, God help me I passed on Soundwave (since I never actually saw him at retail), no way in hell am I paying the silly money TRU wants for MP Prowl. Maaaaan, Iām really digging MP Magnus, and Star Saber is one I will absolutely get. Itās gorgeous and cheaper than the G1 figure in good condition. Waiting for dat MP Victory Leo.

With all the exorbitant prices Iāv seen for the jpn ranging from 400-800, this is a godsend.

MP Prime is awesome! I am with @"Dangerous J"ā, at that price for it, you canāt beat it. My girl paid about $300 for that figure when it was originally released.
MP Lambor, Super Datsun Bros. and Grimlock are also WINS. TRU actually had Prowl for $32 back on Cyber Monday (which is when I got it). Obviously those attached to the Decepticon cause, any version MP-11 is great. I love the changes to the head and overall silohuette of the robot mode. Too bad Megatron hasnāt been redone for the new style of MP Figures. If you arenāt a purist and just want the mold, there are a ton of KOs out in the wild for a good bit of the MP figures.

MP Ultra Magnus back in stock on Hobby Link Japan, and on sale. I just paid ~$150 shipped, which beats the hell out of everything else I was seeing.

Robot Mode
This thing looks like it stepped right out of the cartoon and into your hands. I know the colors look a little off as this phone puts too much blue into everything, but man, itās awesome. The little tweaks on the body definitely give it more mass. Also, the feet come with front and rear stabilizers. Unlike MP-03, you can set it down and it will practically stand on its own. Also, body panel fit a loooooooot better than they did on MP-03
The list of changes outside of plastic colors that stood out from V1 to V2 (Hasbro) in Robot mode are:
New headsculpt (with red eyes)
Changes to the shoulders
Ab molding detail
Additional paint apps to chest squares and arms
Guns are attached via balljoint swivel hinge
Transformation is slightly altered - You now have to slide new portions of the leg and rotate rear feet stabilizers into the thrusters, and rotate front feet 360 and then flip up for conversion.
No Seeker "sheaths"
Decepticon Insignia on both sides of the wings

Now here is the thing. Despite it looking like its right from the cartoon, MP-03 looks more akin to a real jet. The panel lines in vehicle mode stand out more to me in the previous figure than this one.
Here are the differences that stood out to me
In vehicle mode, MP11 is level where MP 03 angles down from front to rear
Different yellow paint and different light colors on MP-11 vs MP03
More paint used on the top of the air intakes
Thrusters are painted silvers vs being molded gunmetal gray
Does not come with missiles
No stand included
Front Landing gear is painted white vs silver
More G1 accurate paint deco vs Toy deco
Painted silver radar pod
Additional painted lights on tail fins
Cockpit seat painted orange
Not an accurate representation of a F-15 Strike Eagle (Less aerodynamic curvature)
MP-11SW is a welcome addition to my collection, but is it worth its weight in $$'s. Well that depends. If you are a fan of Skywarp, die-hard Seeker collector, or do not own the mold at all and want a Seeker you will appreciate it. For current Skywarp owners, In my opinion, this is equivalent to purchasing a solid GOTY edition of a title you already own because the additional content demands it.

I just read Last Stand of the Wreckers.
Wow. This is probably one of the few TF stories Iāve read that really depicted warfare as the cruel, senseless thing that it is.
The hardcover has a lot of text stories and extra stuff. I havent got to it yet, but it looks like a real labor of love.
Read this some months back as my library had the hardcover. I was just as amazed as you were. Made you also realize how insane Overlord is.
