PREVIEW: TRANSFORMERS: PRIMACY #4 Ends the War for Cybertron Epic
END OF THE ROAD! The final secrets of war for CYBERTRON are revealed! Everything has been leading to this—war has engulfed OPTIMUS PRIME’S world, and MEGATRON stands on the verge of triumph! But can any survive the battle of the titans?!
Packaging for the new Generations figures look stellar. Combined with the efforts going into the Generations line (despite the reduction of size), HasTakTomy really have some love given to to them. I really think that the rumored Devastator will be borrowing elements from MakeToys Giant and TFC Hercules. Each combiner effort has gotten better each time. Let face it, Hasbro isn’t going to reinvent the wheel entirely if they don’t have to (e.g. MP-11 Starscream v2). While I want Giant, I am gonna wait to see what this thing will look like, if it is even going to be real.
Now all I want is a Voyager class IDW Optimus Prime. While the Combiner Wars Prime is growing on me (it’s a tax return buy at this point), I just can’t believe HasTakTomy was so lazy to repaint Motormaster into Optimus Prime.
…You know, I find myself thinking similar things while watching. Hearing “They’re just metal.” to describe the Cybertronians, deliberately ignoring that they are sapient living things and of course it’s coming from the mouth of a corrupt corporate executive. Gets you thinking, yeah. (dat real-life subtext.) I also liked that part where the poster’s point boils down to laws basically being a waste of time, when it comes down to it.
Which they are, especially now.
Ferguson, that proposed oil line in Canada or whatever that would completely ruin the environment there(and it’s being pushed anyway because of bribes, shills, and general scumbaggery), climate-change deniers being allowed to EXIST, let alone be part of any decision-making process, piracy/lots of other gray-area stuff on the Web, violent conflict across the globe over nothing being allowed to happen because “it’s not our problem”/“They won’t stop until they’re dead and/or gone”/“We’re making a difference”(lol at the U.S.A., there. What a joke.), economic inequality occurring at the expense of the many to benefit the few…(we are trillions in the hole, by the way)
