I got a WST Blaster specifically to give to Classics/Generations Jazz to carry around. Also got a WST Shockwave for FP upgraded Bruticus. These little things are so cool, aside from having to be extremely careful when transforming them! I swear, it should be recommended to use a toothpick to transform some parts.
I love the new Kup toy. Tracks was one of my favorites, but I never had him. Does anyone know the name of that one mail-order transformer that was a red car that had a flying mode? He had spikes in the front that you could flip out.
picked up the new fallen & highbrow today.
keeping highbrow but Iām gonna wait & see if any of the local dudes feel like swapping blurr & dirge for fallen.
if not, Iāll keep him. but I still want the generations figs a bit more then fallen.
I donāt know about you guys, but i always treated Energon Downshift as a classics Wheeljack. He was of the select FEW Energon bots that remained in my collection before i did some serious prioritizing, and trimming things down(both cost as well as space reasons).
I hate it when parts donāt fit on transformer toys. My Animated Rodimus Minorās windshield canāt stay closed down all the way.
Luckily, there are some workarounds to getting pieces to fit.
donāt much care for animated but any voyager for 13 bucks is usually a pretty good deal. opened both those guys up and I like them both quite a bit. the other 3 I just got for display since theyāre exclusives but they look pretty cool too.
also should hopefully be getting that costco battle ops bumblebee within the next few days. guess they got put out today at all our local costcoās and one dude on the tfw boards is going to go pick up a few. new gold paint deco looks awesome!
I finally decided to open up my TF Movie Target/Walmart exclusive G1 Starscream, Skywarp, and TC. I also opened my TF:A Seekers as well. Got a nice theme going on with my desktop for the month.
TF:A Starscream, Skywarp, Sunstorm
TFTM2 Leader Starscream
TFTM1 G1 Color Skywarp, G1 Color Starscream, G1 Thundercracker
TF Classics SS, SW, and TC, Dirge, Thrust and Ramjet
I agreeā¦now I just have to pray they donāt postpone/cancel generations due to dotm & tf prime toys fighting for shelf space.
leave that little nook for generations/rts or whatever the fuck theyāre gonna call it in 2011 and Iāll survive
just picked up my costco battle ops bb. he looks awesome from outside the box with the new paint app.
canāt believe walmart/target were charging $60 for that half assed one when the real deal is only $41 at costco lol.
First - In order to show the ability to show emotions, the faceplate only allows the eyes to tell the story. Having a mouth give much more play to express feelings. This honestly goes back to BW Optimus Primal.
Second - The other is that the 2007 Movie Optimus Prime has a mouth, and is now the most recognized version to TF Fans of the current generation.
Third - When Prime puts his mask on, SHIT IS GONNA GET REAL!
Mouths donāt emote nearly as much as eyes. The old Optimus had no problem becoming a hero to many kids before, without the use of a mouth. You could argue that itās hard to convey a smile, but Optimus is usually really serious and in the types of stories told in Transformers it should be clear if heās happy or not by looking at the situation and his body language.
In Michael Bayās movies Optimus -along with all the other Transformers and most of the humans- looked like shit.
If they really wanna take away his mask, at least give his face a nice design, in this one he doesnāt even seem to have a nose! Besides, heās pretty much the main character, heās probably got the most screen time. I would think producers would love a main character with less features so heās easier(cheaper and faster!) to animate.
